I haven't had anyone on the course yet so I don't have any testimonials, in fact, I haven't launched but I'm thinking about running a webinar so that I can get people to sign up before it launches. What do you think?

That's a fantastic idea. I talk a bit about pre-selling your online course and getting people to sign up before you've finished it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYabpoakiLpsgpY

Great video!! I've just watched 4 of your videos, and now, am no longer as intimidated by setting up and hosting a webinar! I appreciate how to-the-point and valuable every minute of your videos are... A question is, how might I offer any type of guarantee, if my 'product' is service-related? I am an independent college consultant that helps students and families in the college search process. A monetary 'money-back' guarantee does not seem appropriate, particularly if clients pay for and then get lots of valuable guidance, then might ask for money back...

That's a great question. The main goal when using a guarantee is to make the decision to buy easier by taking on some of the risk (the risk that they'll spend money but not get the expected result). For some products or services (like yours) it may not make sense to offer a guarantee, but a good question to ask is "What could I do (if anything) to reduce the amount of perceived risk the buyer is taking on?"
