I like minion builds, the only problem is when your in map with so many doors your minions wouldnt take even a step unless the player goes in first where enemies are waiting for ambush.

I started to notice that my pure skeletal storm mage build was starting to run into issues at +12 mages. They start attacking the moment they reach range of monsters, but by having to many of them often 5-6 would start casting and body block the mages behind them causing them to not be in range. I switched out 4 mages for 8 warriors and boy is the clear better. Mixing ranged and melee is for sure the way to go. With supports my warriors do 21k damage, my mages do 22k + 2 chains. Mages cost exactly twice what warriors do at my gem level, so I get almost exactly twice the damage with warriors minus the chain. On paper the mages have better clear since they do a little more damage and chain twice, but in practice body blocking tanks your clear if you have too many. Single target I probably still do more damage with pure storm mage since I support with curse and exposure, but I can't say I notice a drop in boss damage. I am now at "I clear as fast as I can run through the map" level and it feels amazing.

For mapping you can swap martial tempo with fork, and for bosses swap scatershoot with to minion mastery

With brutes i was struggling with breach, because I would get overun. Since I can summon 2 warriors for every 1 brute, breach has become more tolerable.

@@joebevis3721 i use detonate dead with a minion build for breaches, it helps alot in getting aoe burst to push through the huge wave of mobs.

I'm confused. you say you have 16 warriors but at 2:16 your sitting at 30 warriors, 11 snipers, 2 clerics, and somehow 9 more warriors? is this a glitch or are you somehow getting an insane amount of minions?? I love the build! I run something like this with bones of ULLR for 20% reduced cost, and the necromantle (I know its not meta) to give 30% of max minion health. really makes them ultra tanky!

I'm new to poe but why so much mana if you aren't really a caster? Is it just because of the mind of mana node for survivability?

Yes because energy shield became mana when you grab Eldritch Battery, so more mana is going to keep you alive. Also the more mana you have, your mana recovery % increases

Why not use Skeletal Arcanists instead of all Warriors? You're losing DPS in 50-60% of the maps because of slim pathways. Plus missing the ability for ignite and explosion.

1. map is not so juiced - a weee bit of juice, not much 2. from a strategic point of view - the build is just a bad idea - you can have fun with a bad idea but it's still a bad idea 3. to invest that much in mana just so you can spam a command skill is not a good investment return, mana/regen gear has a price tag due to competition with Sorc, so bad idea from eco. point of view too (; 4. t20 :D it's monster lvl 80 map dude, stop saying stupid stuff 5. maim/blind/cull on one! single target melee minion show complete misunderstanding of the game's mechanics - those are 99.95% down, just go learn to play at this point, you need a guide (; 6. So no AoE on the many warriors :D yeah, good idea - great to see how 5 of those target the same mob while knowing one hit kills it, great optimization :D we are not even 5 min in.... 7. Poison scales from the phys dmg dealt, 20% - that's it, if you don't have a way to spread it and if it's not enough to kill white mobs - you are just having a wee little boost vs rare/uniques (and uniques will not feel it compared to the pain they are getting from other hits anyway) - great way to waste 2 support spots (; 8. you are missing on ES clearly... it's just there so back to N2 - many single target minions are just not providing solutions or answers and there are no inherited advantages, range AoE minions give you FAR better clear AND single target due to actually hitting the enemy instead of waiting their turn :D what this setup does - a simple DD/FW with SrS does better and with more synergy, 10 skull hit way better that 16 Skeletons - actually hit, because of frame size and the aforementioned DD does help with clear speed :D while FW does provide a bit of dmg for shooter, of the type we scale - ha... anyway - you don't deserve my time, i just clicked 'do not recommend channel'

So disrespectful. It’s just a game, man. I don’t know how old you are, but you’re acting like a child who thinks he knows everything. Over time, you’ll realize that how you treat others matters more than always trying to appear the smartest in the room. Aaron has created hundreds of guides for many games. His guides for Last Epoch are unmatched, and everyone loves him. What have you accomplished that makes you use such big words? You won’t win anyone over like this. You’re only embarrassing yourself. Learn to respect people, or no one will respect you. The only thing you’re right about is that this isn’t Aaron’s best build. But your minion build isn’t the best out there either. It’s not even the strongest of all the minion ranged builds. Right now, the strongest is actually a minion melee build, even though different one. So you’re wrong about a lot of things too. But I’m not here to give you lessons. It seems there are other experts here for that.
