Looks really fun. I want to transition away from my witchhunter grenadier and do sth more active. I guess the gems you use are in the order of priority? Am lvl 53 right now, does it make sense to transition now or should I wait?

When I saw Snipe was 100% crit and had extra crit bonus I decided to do a blood mage snipe bleed build making use of the free crit bonus from the ascendancy and potentially the ele bleed node. Glad to see it’s performing well

Following the written guide, respecced my guy to this at lvl 45 and my dmg is completely garbage with rain of arrows. I have the gems done correctly, my freezing salvo, bow is not great but it's a lvl 39 rare and I'm doing like nothing - what am I missing? freezing salvo tooltip is 199 dps, snipe is 495, and rain of arrows is 226, bow shot is 147

to any1 feeling like they dont have dmg around act 3: i started my adventure as crossbow merc and instantly got drawn to bleed, i tried everything to make it work, either i missed something or the crossbow is just not the greatest for bleed. so i decided to go bow. now the bow is much better, but this build feels lacking, atleast for me, ive currently just swicthed over to it at the final stage of act 3 and ive found that using the basic bow skill and rain of arrows is the best pairing when u pair armor break and poison. by act 3 u shouldve gotten a jewelers orb to increase a skill slot on ur gems, this increases the basic skill aswell even when u use it on another skill. so with that envenom, corrosion and bursting plague make the basic bow skill insane, paired with rain of arrows with splinter, pin and conc effect. this has helped my ad clear a lot. salvo, snipe and escape shot i havnt seen a massive impact from. but looking at hopw everything works this build does make sense and i can see how itll work when all the pieces are available. but if you are having a dmg issue, atleast around act 3 since that is when i started this build, then i suggest this. other than that thanks for build video homie, saved my ahh

it's very painful early, like how do you get 100% to bleed? with the bleed gem my basic shot had 72% basically taking out chain. boss damage is also abysmal. my friend with lightning arrow did definetely waaaaaaaay more dmg.

High Velocity would be the best for pure Phys based attack, It goes up to around 1000% against armor broken target the other would be Frag round against Frozen target which explode for around 1300% + how ever many bolts you manage to shotgun into a target still not sure if it'll be better than RoA-Volley-Snipe Bow setup not to mention pack clearing problem, also the numbers are according to poe2db at level 20 might not be accurate to the one we got in game

​@@BeeLightning combo of armour piercing rounds + high velocity is a good one for bleed. but, im using galvanic shards for pack clearing. I think if crossbow is better than bow, full slavo and (exploit or some stun passive) are important. so it looks that 4 or 5 kind of bullet, armour break, elemental ailments or stun, high velocity + inevitable critical can be a synergy. bro, give me some ideas plz. i wanna full bullet bleed combo build

​@@ssz004 I really can't see the full phys bleed Xbow, we'll always need something else for clear as we only have Frag,AP,HVR and flash for full phys skill everything else has some ele convert the only thing I can think of is MAYBE gas grenade with poison/ailment scale and double as armor breaker , but I'm not sure if it'll even be enough since we already used up every point just for travel between all the bleed/ailment/crossbow node the other way would be Glacial bolt + Frag for clear and HVR for bossing (feels more feasible here tbh which I'm trying next)

How did you manage to put sockets extra on bowshot? icannot createt he gem and is a basic attack skill so i cannot use the jewellers, thanks

So from my understanding, it depends on your level, the basic attack will have extra sockets since is not a skill, it's a skill that is being provided by the bow. However, I'm not sure if using a Lesser Jeweler Orb on another skill (not bow shot) unlocks slots for Bowshot

@JayTX thanks for the answer, you are right, depends on your character level. There's not an existing skill gem called bowshot but is ok. For now I'm running brutality and increased attack speed and clear is slow but I kill enemies in 2 attacks

Does bleed only deal damage with the highest bleed on an enemy like poe1 or can you have multiple bleeds dealing damage? None of the bleed info mentions only having 1 bleed so I wasn't sure.

Your highest damage bleed will be applied on an enemy, only 1 bleed at a time and lower roll bleeds cant over-ride higher roll bleeds but the other way around is possible, higher roll bleeds can over-ride lower roll bleeds

i started this, it has quite high dps and it's very fun. but it's also sad we don't have any bleed ascendacy in ea. i hope we don't fail in endgame lol

ok, depending your level the basic attack will have extra sockets since is not a skill! is a skill that is being provided by the bow.

I rolled ranger but really bricked my build by not reading tooltips properly and it's too expensive to respec so Im going to go with a new character with your build and see if I have better luck :)

Im an avid bleed enjoyer in any game that has it so ive been brewing my build up with shock since its a 20% extra damage not sure if its good though

The bleed really doesn't scale well, Act 4 is absolute menace with this build. Unfortunately this is even less viable than a my initial crossbow bleed build from which I respecced. I wouldn't recommend this...

It takes a bit of scaling but I think its very strong for boss fights since you have constant up-time on your dps and can focus on the fight mechanics

Thats the most atrocious levelling I have ever experienced. I had quite a few Exalts invested into levelling gear. This build just sucks while levelling. Rain of arrows is DOGSHIT. Autoattack doesnt get new Sockets it sucks too with only 2 sockets. Only thing that deals damage is Snipe and clearing with that also sucks ass. Guys dont ever level with Bows. Its horribly expensive and 10 times slower as Crossbow or Staves!
