You also need to watch for Flasks if you rely heavily on Utility especially. Since the champion is the only Unique monster on the field, it makes it tedious to recover them while staying alive. If you fall, you get your charges back but all it takes to prevent you from respawning is 1 enemy channeling your main totem, the enemy destroying it or some of the soldiers have abilities that can screw with your ability to revive. Obviously, you don't want to to do this! Good thing I am a Pathfinder and don't need to worry about this

A few additional tricks from my own grind to rank 265ish playing agro pathfinder: 1. Firebreathers (walking bombs) are really good on defense despite how they sound. When you hit an enemy flanker channeling your totem they will often run away and start targeting another totem, but firebreathers 1 shot any good flanking unit and can even get multikills which is a great value trade with almost no totem damage. 2. To match with the comment above, grab 1 hinekora's horn. Placed on defense, they will spend most of the time using Bolstering spirit to revive the firebreather faster or revive your flankers so that they get more shots at the enemy. 3. Be very careful of consuming kunekune's. The description says they can prevent reviving for 5 seconds, this is a lie. There is no cd on the consume ability so if you get 1 shot at the start of a round a single pig can sit on your body and prevent you from ever respawning. 4. Each unit has a "tribal passive". I can't confirm it, but it looks like this passive gets better with more units from a single tribe or isn't active with single units. Because of this I like to focus on two or three tribes per trial run. 5. Similar to the proximity shield trick from Ten's video, totems can block attacks from ranged defenders and have no effect. Just place down 2 or 3 totems between you and a ranged defender and you can channel a full totem without them doing anything about it.

The only tournament runs that I won completely so far was when I was in act 2 level 25 and I just defended towers while almost all my other units were set to flank. As long as I didn't die, the other team was focusing mostly on trying to kill me. So my team took out pretty much all their towers or all their towers .

if you just started the league just go full flanking and defend the middle that will give you some early wins

@@borismirkalt8049 not really, even with the navali units you can get a lot of win by just stacking flanking early on, of course this are the first couple matches, they help you get favor of the other tribes and as you advance you need to change strategy this is for the people that just started and don't know where the f they should place the first units you get my priority is Flank > Defenders >= Attack > Scort of course that depends on your build too, I'm playing RF so I just facetank and let my units do the dirty work of breaking the totems

A few tips I learned from experimenting recently. Tanky units as flankers is awesome. Tidecallers, goliaths and the 2nd tier of the lizard guys that has an ability to disappear and the guys that make walls are the best. Get your best dps/tank units on defence because you can almost ignore your own base and by doing this you can get behind the enemy and dps the defenders to let your flankers do some work on totems. Get your worst units as your followers and anything else you have just sell them sell them as much as you can. Also look for items 100% health, 50% damage, defenders generate charges and make your best units OP.

You can sell any warriors or equipment to which ever tribe you want the favors for, if you don't have enough for what you want.

I'm frostblades this league. So far I think the best strategy is easily just building a totem build and put knockback on. pretty much auto win with that. As i'm not going to do another build, since i have a wide spread attack i just kill all of them then start taking out flank towers. I will eventually have to put knockback on but so far so good.

Some are. If it says equipment, it goes on a unit. If it says field item, you place it on the map and use it in the trial. If it doesn’t say anything, it’s a buff on you.

I think the "stun" might just be a slow since for some reason the enemy big turtle are immune to the stun when attacking my totems but it might just be a bug..🤔

There's a particular turtle unit that specifically has a mechanic where it does not get interrupted/stunned when attacked while banishing totems. Its very slow, but very tanky. Getting one of your own is actually a solid flanker, especially outfitted with either life regen equipment or movement speed equipment. Unfortunately, they're like ~2400 favour, so not a unit you will reliably pick up every run.

It depends on when your build comes online. For me personally I started being able to do it efficiently around levle 80. But if you have silver coins, feel free to try earlier and if you get destroyed come back in a few levels.

That depends a bit on your build, but I'd say the easiest is Kitava (Utula) and the most difficult is Ngamahu, Rongokurai, Hinekora, or Arohongui.

there really isnt a easy or hard tribe, youll notice when you are picking a team, they are also fighting each other earning favour also, allowing them to buy more unit, you need to be tactical with your picks who you are fighting not always for best loot

Unfortunately no. But they can distract enemies while you channel on the totems.

Sounds like you need to focus more on protecting your totems and interrupting the enemies that attempt to channel on them.

I haven't encountered that, but if he does a lot of physical damage it could be you need more defenses.

@@Tenkiei10 k armor, 5k life, 4 endurance charges, Sentinel of Purity out and over 30 minions around me at all time...none matters. He's the only one that can do this and the people i play with agree that only he and his "Goliath of night" just oneshot us with autohits/offscreen. I always need to take him out first since he will absolutely wreck my shit in the finals

I certainly don't have as many defenses as you and haven't had issues. Typically I have 0-3 endurance charges, around 4.5k life and no armor (instead I use 40% of phys taken as fire + arctic armor) he's scary, and hits me hard but even around 300 rating it's not a 1-shot. But if your build has a particular weakness to something you can take them out early, that's a perfectly valid strategy.

Jugg 78k armor 90 pdr, 80 all res and 80 chaos res using fourth vow + glorious vanity. Max charges. 20% of phys taken as elemental. 23 fortify stacks I get one shotted. He is bugged or overtunned. Just get more defenses KEKW.

unfortunately, no matter how strong your character is, it will die in one-shot on higher ranks matches. the best way to play the mechanic is to build a character with high evasion/block and movement speed. try not to get hit and kill opponents' totem asap

man im hating this league mechanic is straight up unfair, getting through the first ranking is easy when you are on the lasts one its stupid how good the enemy AI is compared to yours even with all position filled my team gets wipped out every time i have 4 defenders that struggle against flankers so much to the point where i have to run back to base to stop enemy flankers enemy chieftain follows me with his group and i have all my area filled with them on top of that the enemy flankers are so damn tanky while mine are made of paper
