As Molten Strike I can't see shit in the clusterfuck of melee and spell effects, there's essentially no way to dodge the Ritual mobs on death effects or the chaos floor spam, which since I'm not geared well against chaos yet just gets me killed often enough that I don't do ritual anymore

Once you get your town fully upgraded the amount of divines your mappers find goes up quite a bit. My guild has been nonstop running their mappers and just our carry alone has gotten over 5 raw divines. It's not a broken amount of money, but a surprisingly consistent one none the less. Pair that with shipments and the league ends up giving a large sum of mostly passive income.

As an experience I loved running Abyss in Affliction. I played support in a duo with a friend and we originally picked Abyss just for the Exp bonuses on the Atlas because they had nerfed 5-ways. We didn't figure out the projectile interaction early enough to actually properly keep up with the inflation so even though afterwards we found two mirrors we couldn't afford the final upgrades we wanted to our gear. So most of our wealth ultimately ended up rotting away in remove only tabs. But the encounters, while laggy, were very fun. Like a once in a lifetime taste of what 'Crazy Empyrean-like stuff" feels like. But even though it was fun, the market was so atrocious I never want to see it in such a state again even when if I'm one of the guys benefitting from the situation. Necropolis was such a mess I kinda just gave up.

Looking at POE Ninja, it seems like the only uniques that spiked abnormally high in price were Mageblood and, to some extent, Headhunter and Nimis. I would hazard a guess that GGG did really manage to lock things down super fast before things got way out of hand. Good Guy GGG.

What I use to check what map tier a beast spawns at, like black morrigan, I search for it on trade and sort by item level, it will match the item level of the upper / lower maps it was found in if there are a decent amount listed.

Probably just the normal unjuiced maps/incomplete atlas feel. I've only had 1 raw divine as a monster drop and it was as you typed that (plus one from Atlas runners and a bunch of other good stuff like 3 or 4 tainted fusings when they were still 70c). Feels pretty normal for day 3 though.

I havent checked but I think you said something incorrect. Flicker Strike isn't now considered "moving". It just has a check around the player for gold before the skill activates. This is key to point out as some buffs are removed if "moving". I haven't checked this yet, but I assume what I said is true.

tiny phrasing correction on the 3:50 timestamp; flicker striking away IS STILL STATIONARY, but now stationary sources of displacing yourself pick up gold around where you left you're never moving while flickering and that's important for some sinnergies

For things that care whether you're moving or stationary at a specific instant, you're always stationary because the movement happens "between" ticks. For effects that care about being stationary for a duration, using Flicker or similar instant teleports always resets the timer for similar reasons.

Last 2 leagues had economies severely impacted by these abusive interactions and FOMO. I mean, why would you even bother farming stuff like blight or heist if Abyss with +projectiles drops 100 times more loot than anything else. Later on economy adjusted a bit, with catalysts being 2 divines for +20% quality for example - but the sour taste was there. Necropolis was even bigger shitshow with headhunters being worth 5 divines. So many uniques dropped in these abusive strategies that nothing except T0 costed any money. It's just not fun.

I had a bug with the currency exchange happen twice for me. I put up 15 simulacrum splinters up for sale for some chaos (cant remember how much). I got the full chaos amount when I sold it, but then there were also 5 splinters left over that I could take from Faustus. I remember clearly that even as a partial sell, this could never happen. Are you aware of stash tab affinities? You can nominate a tab to be, for example, your Delirium tab (it's an option if you right-click the tab). All delirium items (deli orbs, Simulacrums and splinters, and maps with layers of delirium applied, but NOT cluster jewels) will be sent there when you control-rightclick into stash. If you don't want them to go there, you can shift-control-rightclick to send to the currently open stash instead. This is the best sorting available.

Your and potentially GGG's take on ppl getting loot/currency in excess like 3.23 is wrong imo. Just look at the player retention between 3.23 and 3.24! 3.23 Everybody gets to enjoy the wealth and player retention is among the best ever (if not best entirely) 3.24 Only the "abuse early abuse hard" 1% players enjoys the wealth and player retention ended up terrible. while i do agree that the 3.25 div card failure was a problem and to easy to abuse, i dont agree with the sentiment that to much wealth is bad for the league (as long as everybody gets a part of it)

The abyss exploit was way under 1% of the playerbase in 3.23. The millions of divines and thousands of mirrors from it would have been from a couple thousand players total.

For one changing how blight maps are layed out to fit one of those encounters is probably way more difficult then we know. For two even if they could I don't think they would, they are not going to add these to log books, legion 4/5 ways or sanctum either, that's kind of the point of an out of map league mechanic. For three if they are going to do any work on blight first needs to he a performence pass. For four I have had people bulk buy blighted maps from me through the trade site, so you are just wrong about that.

I know what was happening, and it had to be emergency patched (and removing the loot was the right call), but we had a league jsut 2 leagues ago where literally millions of divines/voidkeys/Valdo boxes and thousands of mirrors were created with a flagrant exploit (albeit one that could happen by accident) - Stygian Spires getting their loot, including Affliction loot, multiplied by the number of projectiles. People were farming this hour after hour and it wasn't unheard of to see one person get 2 mirrors in a day - on stream. This was tame by comparison

So here's my take. If a player uses an unintended interaction to buy themselves a few choice pieces of gear like HH/MB just fix it and move on. But when they use it to disrupt the economy ban them. That said, it's not fair to ban them without the rules being clear before hand. Imo just take the wealth this time and make a clear announcement that it will result in a ban going forward.

@@jasonlucia6682 The thing is, usually you take a precident and stay consitent. GGG has ranged from doing nothing to banning Empy and crew for ~50 Ex as a group for a whole league. It's always "if you exploit we will ban you", but then are very variant in their judgments. I'm usually of the stance, if something is possible without external software and can emerge from gameplay (like imo this exploit), it's not to be punished with player actions expect to take the ill gotten gains away. If you engage with third party software (like archnemesis loot conversion spying), it's a perma.

I can sorta understand flip flopping though, I've done a bit of that myself since my initial reply. On one hand I still think having a firm anti-malice stance is the best thing for the game. However, enforcing bans would be a nightmare in a free to play game. They could re-ban the streamers, but anyone else can use a vpn and just come right back. I don't really care if they get punished, that's just a tool to keep the game safe. If they can monitor these things and take quick action (like they did this time) then it's fine by me.

Probably for the best Even with the most restricitive ban system I know in a consumer product (Riot's Vanguard - issues Hardware bans), these are trivial to sidestep for informed people. Until we live in a government controlled internet like the people in China, repercussions for transgressions on the Internet will stay mild ( And all in all, that is preferable imo)

I was crashing in loading screens like every 5 minutes.made campaign a living hell. What worked for me at the end is updating the driver and then switching from directx11 to vulkan. Hope this helps you

The flicker strike change is not a buff It is a huge nerf. Flicker strike banks on the mechanic that you're "not moving" to keep charges and keep defenses high. The wording on one of the items is something along the lines of, " You lose all charges when you move". This would he be a huge nerf, also minor god buff that stacks mitigation so long as you're not moving. They're going to have many people whose finished builds are going to be have to be reworked when they already bought items. That change is really sucks. I nearly played that build when I made my second character on day two. So there's going to be a lot of flicker strike players whose build is total toast.
