Thank you. I hadn't heard this poem. It expressed the pain of death and loss of loved ones eloquently.

@@RobertGReaderofBooks-r3p absolutely! I’ve been doing these episodes on Thursdays since I started my channel. I either focus on a specific poet or on poetry related to a reading event that’s going on or on poetry surrounding a particular theme. It’s been fun.

my GCSE English teacher was a Welsh lady called Mrs Barry, who taught us Dylan Thomas and read his poetry with a beautiful lilting Welsh accent. I will never forget it, and how quietly proud she was of Dylan Thomas

Delighted to hear you like poetry. An important genre. May I recommend WH Auden's beautiful, moving Funeral Blues ? ( Especially as read by Tom O Bedlam ). Henry Vaughan's metaphysical poem Peace changed my life. Read accompanied by Nimrod from the Enigma variations. Oh my. Thank you, Robert.

Thank you. Have you heard Michael Sheen recite "Do not go gentle..."? It's on YT. Magnificent, so powerful and highly recommended. Kevin
