Poets is the most fantastic unknown rock band to ever exist. It doesn't matter who you are or what your preferred music style is, There is a POTF song that WILL connect and make you a fan for life. That is just how incredible they are musically.

Oh HEY! You just found Finnish group: Poets of the Fall and their Lead Singer / Song Writer; Marko Saaresto. Yes such a distinctive & simply beautiful richly textured voice. They're called 'Alt-Rock' by some, but many songs are quite ballad like and I gather they've also written/ performed for theatre film & video. I discovered them late last year { they've only been together since 2003!} and went straight into binge listening. I'm not sure what their backgrounds are but sounds like there's a strong classical background in there somewhere. 🙂👍

The whole Alexander Theater sessions is worth a listen or 10. Then to studio and then live in concert. I’ve just discovered POTF a few weeks ago myself and am devouring their content as fast as possible. I believe they sound better live than studio. I would love to see them live.

They definitely do, and the atmosphere live is always magical and beautiful, always full of positive vibes being passed back and forth between band and audience. I’ve been following their journey since the release of their first album back in 2005, and every concert I’ve attended was like I described above. They never disappoint. 💚
