Shreya Singh Ikr! I feel like punching the wall for this sad fact. The world doesn't know how to appreciate true artists instead glorifies those half baked pop singers. Perhaps, today's world isn't ready enough for POTF's greatness!

He stares out the window, blank as a canvas made up in the sunlight and swirling smoke and ash. He waits for a breath. Now, taking his time, he sees an eternity in a blink of an eye. And for him this life is made of time and choices, An endless blend of vistas painted bright with memories. The here and now will bow to him to only serve one purpose, to keep your peace. He takes on the world all in a stride, and your wounds will be his scars. So won't you remember when the night comes, he will need your open arms. For to be invincible, he needs your love. He stands in the doorway, quiet like yesterday, With forgotten thoughts become a mystery and nightmares locked away. He looks like a gunman, but his view is much too wide for such a solution, So he fights without a six gun on his side. And all the while the stars and moon shine brightly. Outside the desert wails a curse of rage and jealousy. And yet tomorrow comes along and shifts to serve his purpose, to keep your peace. He takes on the world all in a stride, and your wounds will be his scars. So won't you remember when the night comes, he will need your open arms. For to be invincible, he needs your love.

Dear POETS! 🎤 ⠀ Your voices give me the power to live and create. After the concert in St. Petersburg, my husband decided to grow hair and pump up like Jaska Mäkinen. 🧔🏻 I decided to live, how I wanted, not to be liked by other people. ⠀ The concert was really powerful! 🔥🔥🔥 But I was also waiting for The ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper. 🎼 ⠀ It’s my favorite song, the melody of my soul ... How often do we sacrifice ourselves, forgetting everything, without demanding anything in return. The only thing without which this is impossible is the love of these people. 💜 ⠀ You are awesome! Thank you for yours souls, voice, texts and self-irony. 🙌🏻

In my Interpretation Jeremiah Peacekeeper is an Avatar of time. Neither the Avatar of the past, nor the Avatar of the future. He is the Avatar of the Presence! To understand this, you have to notice, that all of the negative feelings you get in the presence is caused by clinging your thoughts either to the past (negative events,pain) or to the future (worrying, suffering). If you keep you thoughts in the presence, you will neither fear nor suffer. Jeremiah can only protect you, by using the presence. And he can only use it, if you love him, or in other words spend your time in the presence when, the darkness(negative emotions) come. Lines supporting my interpretation: 1. "He sees an eternity in blink of an eye" 2. "..The here and now will bow to him to only serve one purpose. To keep your peace". 3. "...and your wounds will be his scars. So won’t you remember when the night comes He will need your open arms . For to be invincible he needs your love." 4. "And yet tomorrow comes along And shifts to serve his purpose To keep your peace." The other lines support that too. The present is the most quiet time. The thoughts always wonder to future or past. As if they were screaming you to think of them. The presence doesn't do this. So he's portrait as quiet guy. Looking out of windows. Standing quiet in doors. Without "gun" to solve your problems. "Outside the desert wails a curse of rage and jealousy." Outside the desert, where no human being lives, is a lot of anger (based on past) or jealousy(based on future) I hope this makes sense to you and if you have other interpretations. Tell me!
@davidkyo19854 жыл бұрын
The song is about good dads who have a strong sense of empathy toward and willingness to make sacrifices for their loved ones, as seen from the hero-worshipping perspective of a small boy. But sure, let's go with the everyone is Jesus in purgatory interpretation, why not.
