കഴിഞ്ഞ വരവിൽ വാങ്ങിയ പുസ്തകം ആയിരുന്നു ഒരു ഹിമാലയൻ യോഗിയുടെ ആത്മകഥ. ശ്രി എം രചിച്ച ആ മഹനിയ പുസ്തകം ഒരു പേജു പോലും മറിച്ചു നോക്കാതെ തലയിണ സമീപം കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു വർഷമായി ഇരിക്കുക ആയിരുന്നു. രണ്ടു ദിവസം മുൻപാണ്‌ വായന തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയോടെ വായന പൂർത്തിയായി. ഭാരതം മുഴുവൻ നടന്നു,വിവിധങ്ങളും വ്യെതിസ്തങ്ങളുമായ യോഗിമാരെ, മഹത്വ്യെക്തിത്വങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു വന്ന ഒരു പ്രതീതി. സൂഫി വേരുകൾ ഉള്ള തിരുവന്തപുരത്തെ ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിൽ മുംതാസ് അലിയായി ജനിച്ചു ഒമ്പതാമത്തെ വയസ്സിൽ തിരിച്ചറിവ് തുടങ്ങി പത്തൊൻപതാം വയസ്സിൽ നാടുചുറ്റി കറങ്ങി നടന്നു, ശേഷം ഹിമാലയ സാനുക്കളിൽ നിന്നും ഒൻപതാമത്തെ വയസ്സിൽ കണ്ടുമറഞ്ഞ ഗുരുവിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി, പഠനം തുടങ്ങി. ജീവിത യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി. അതിമനോഹരമായ വായന സുഖം. പല സംഭവങ്ങളും മറ്റൊരുവനോട് ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ നെറ്റി ചുളിക്കുകയോ കണ്കെട്ടു വിദ്ധിയെന്നോ പൊട്ടത്തരമെന്നൊ ഒക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു അവിശ്വാസം ഉണ്ടാക്കാം. വായിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ധ്യാനത്തെ കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ പഠിക്കണം എന്നും ചെയ്യണം എന്നും ഒരു ആഗ്രഹം. മധുകർണാജി താങ്കൾ എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ എന്തൊക്കയോ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു... അത് എനിക്ക് മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ കഴിയട്ടെ എന്നൊരു പ്രാർത്ഥന മാത്രം ആണ്. അലേക് നിരഞ്ജൻ ശിവോഹം ശിവോഹം
