thank you so much for this mastering component! I've waited months for a good video of side chaining that wasn't influenced byfar science.

Even though I had trouble seeing the screen because it was too small, I am grateful for the tips. Thanks!

when routing returns to main bus, you have to disable the sends on main bus, because if you didnt do so, ableton will introduce delay in all return signals - reverbs, ping pongs etc - to prevent feedback from happening.

Nice tutotrial but the voiceover is way to loud to ear the musical result. Too bad

no hate but I totally agree.

Dope. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks man! Is there any difference between copy and pasting the same compressor (with sidechain settings) to every channel desired as opposed to sending them all to that side chain bus?

Save yourself headaches and buy volume shaper by cable guys.

the tutorial is great but there's a little tweaking to be done on future vids.

Do not put too much of sidechaining on a track though. I have sidechaining straight on some channels and putting this on top killed the vibe the track had before. Although, if you haven't yet used sidechain on any channels you're about to select, this would do the trick. And do not forget to disable your mic before putting everything through the new channel as mine picked up the mic and made it horrible

Dude, asking random people. Longtime logic user. Recently started using ableton out of curiosity. When playing back the track I can still hear delay/reverb from previous playback. Do you know of any setting to stop this? Please help 😭. No, my delay/reverb feedback isn't too long. It is a playback issue.

Great tips, but the audio for the video tutorial I think should be pushed harder. Almost inaudible on low volumes.

Those banner ads hovering over the tutorial, obscuring where people need to see are obnoxious, tacky and unnecessary.

Have to agree with others here. The effort taken to produce the tutorial and then chopped off at the knees by terrible voiceover mixing. Kinda odd for a professional outfit.

aye for real, you guys should have way better audio on this video. you are all audio professionals but the audio on this video is trash.
