Unpopular fact #1 : Bianca is stronger than Cheren. Unpopular fact #2 : Bianca is actually the strongest female rival of all time with a team between 68~70. And She's the 5th strongest Rival of All time with Hugh. The 2nd strongest female is actually Serena with a team between 66~70.

It warms my heart to know they didn't alter this rival theme at all. It puts nostalgia into the battles and genuinely makes it feel like you're playing in Hilbert/Hilda's shoes once again, even if you didn't play the original Black and White. Additionally, Bianca and Cheren are still using their old starters - which are built around the same starter you, the player, are using. It's great. I love these two so much, and being able to fight Cheren without the Gym theme playing - or even Bianca on the first route of the original game again - just hits close to home.

I find it weird how Cheren uses a different elemental monkey in his memory link battle than the one he had in BW. Because the team he uses in this video means you picked Tepig in BW, which would mean he would've had Simisear in BW, but here he uses a Simisage. It's such a minor detail, but still strange.

To battle Bianca past Route 1 and Cheren past Route 5 against Vanessa, you need a Memory Link in the Unova Link section in Pokémon Black 2 or Pokémon White 2 (requires an older version of Pokémon Black or Pokémon White while playing as Hilbert or Hilda (one-time only)).

One thing I find particularly odd about the Cheren battle is that the elemental monkey he uses is different from BW1. His monkey is actually the one *you* would've had in the linked BW1 file, since instead of Simisear in that battle like he should be having, he instead has Simisage. That's the monkey Hilbert would've used in that playthrough, because it's clearly a linked file that had Tepig as the starter. Pretty odd if you ask me.

I chose Tepig in Black Version and received a Simisage. You get the elemental monkey that is weak to your starter, so it appears that all is in order. My battle with him had a Samurott and Simisear, as if to prove the point

@@necfreon6259 I forgot about that comentary but not anymore When i made that list sword and shield weren't released yet ,so marnie couldn't be in the list , and anything scarlet and violet nor legends arceus existed today the list would be: 1st-Nemona 2nd- Bianca 3rd- Marnie i'll give it to marnie because even though she doesn't have a full team of 6 (serena does have one) the moveset of her team is extremely superior to serena's team 4th- Serena honorable mentions May and Akari i can't consider them rivals because they don't challenge nor try to compete wih the protagonist in any objective that the player have like beat the league or complete the, May is just helping her father in his research and akari is just doing her job. people could use this same argument for bianca but, even though bianca wasn't a rival in B2W2 in the B1W1 she was a rival Penny Penny just wanted to disband team star for her friend's sake and helped a lot the player in doing so, player and penny weren't rivals they were allies, they helped each other for a common goal, even though she faces the player because she was the big boss she just did it because if she wasn't defeated team star couldn't be disbanded If you find any difficult to read or typos, sorry I'm still learning how to speak english

Memory Link allows players to sync either of the original Black and White games with Black 2 and White 2 via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or DS Wireless Communications. With this feature, the player can access new game features and interactions in Black 2 and White 2. The player will need to progress their Pokémon Black or White game to specific points in the main story in order to unlock certain flashbacks via the Memory Link.

You can find Bianca If you go all the way to Nuvema Town. The only way to get there is going through the east of Castelia and crossing Skyarrow Bridge. The road is only unlocked If you complete the main game.

These battles are activated by Memory Link, which requires that you link BW2 to a BW1 file to activate these battles. Cheren and Bianca's starters correspond to the one you picked in the linked BW1 file. Most likely, for whatever reason, these are showcasing two different linked BW1 files, one for Bianca, the other for Cheren. Considering Cheren refers to "Hilbert" and Bianca refers to "Hilda" here, plus a different player character for BW2 for each battle, I imagine this is two different BW2 files each connected to a different BW1 file Mixeli has.
