I'm attempting to become the CHAMPION of the Paldea region! BUT, all 8 gym leaders, the E4, and champion have been replaced by my friends! They all have teams that go beyond what is normally possible in Pokemon. Can we win?

if it was the ghost gym doubles, i would bring... hmmmmmmm... farigiraf, raging bolt, urshifu rapid strike, incineroar, rillaboom and calyrex shadow rider. No reason, hehehe

I'd bring Tinkaton, Greninja, Gyarados, Garchomp, Hisuian Arcanine and my fav Mudkip with Air Balloon, Electric terrastilzation and Wonder Guard with the first 5 doing all the damage and Mudkip cleaning up the rest sense he'd be invincible too every move and would only take damage from spikes, poison, stealth rock and sandstorm plus self damaging moves which my boi won't have he won't kill himself.

For me, Id be the Champion, make it a double battle, and it would lead with Thundurus-Therian with the Choice Scarf, the ability Hadron Engine, and the moves Discharge, Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse, and Volt Switch. The second lead is Slaking with the ability Motor Drive. It holds the leftovers and has the moves Bulk Up, Earthquake, Thunder Punch, and Body Slam. The third and fourth Pokemon are Zamazenta and Maushold. Zamazenta has the Stamina ability, holds the leftovers, and has the moves Agility, Body Press, Heavy Slam, and Protect. Maushold has the ability Friend Guard with the Wide Lens held item. It have the moves Pop. Bomb, Psychic Fangs, Super Fang, and Follow Me. The fifth and sixth Pokemon are Registeel and Salazzle. Registeel has the Beads of Ruin ability, holding the leftovers, and has the moves Body Press, Metal Sound, Knock Off, and Protect. Salazzle has the Supreme Overlord ability, holds the Life Orb, and has Heat Wave, Sludge Wave, Dragon Pulse, and terastallizes to Ghost to use Tera Ghost Tera Blast.

The tieover video from the end of 2024 to the start of 2025 has come in strong, with an interesting progression pace that follows the intensity of the battles: the first couple gyms get knocked out before the video even has a chance to take off but once you get about halfway through the gyms, things start slowing down a bit while ramping up the difficulty and taking a deep dive into each major turn of events. As was said during the video as things played out, each next battle and its consequences meant so much more the further along you get. From rethinking individual strategies to team composition as a whole, it all built up to those final 5. The incoming intermission toward the end of the E4 has to be the most epic Pokemon training montage I've ever witnessed, especially how the outro of the one stream was transitioned to this revelation behind the scenes as well as the music all throughout the video, particularly for the second E4 battle (a track I recognize from watching Dylan's RR streams); and the montage highlights the unsung hero of this tediously challenging sort of nuzlocke - who better than the best battler this community has ever seen, the Beneral of Playmore Esports (Wolfey was also seen being part of that learning process but there was also a great Playmore plug from early on). It was awesome seeing how your dynamic with chat's input, and ultimately Ben's training, saw you overcome one of the most complex and intricate challenges this channel has ever seen.

Imma call BS on this. The point of a challenge is to be challenging, not impossible. You had 3 Tries per (Competitively viable/ hacked OP/ Full EV&IV)Gym Leader, but were expected to only have 3 lives for (Competitively viable/ hacked OP/ Full EV&IV) Elite 4 and Champion all in one go???? Nah that's not fair man, I say you don't lose the challenge cause that was never going to be possible and that wasn't fair. Should have had 3 lives per member, even without the (Competitively viable/ hacked OP/ Full EV&IV) that basically not fair or a Nuzlocke Challenge even. I hope you are ok after going through this and would love if you did this challenge again but with the Gym Leaders being your actual friends live battling you and the difference I've stated.
