I've been enjoying it, in the beginning it's very addicting, ripping open booster packs brought me back to my childhood, especially when I began pulling the 1999 base set art cards featured in Genetic Apex. I'm hoping to see more base set homage in future expansions. I have been enjoying most of the events but the wonder pick events can be frustrating as well as promo packs giving excess repeat cards at times. Really looking forward to trading and interested how they will manage and regulate that aspect of the game.

⁠⁠⁠@@shadowfax859 completely same feelings with all that you said, especially looking forward to the rollout of trading and the new pack expansions. I think the game really needs new cards soon. I’m also looking forward to more online battling events, the last one was a ton of fun to grind for.

@gameBlendNetwork Definitely needs new cards soon, and also came back to say the new consecutive win event is really frustrating and not enjoyable. EVERYONE is using one of three meta decks, so getting 5 consecutive matches where you're not at a disadvantage during one is difficult and luck based, along with the matches themselves being luck of the draw and what deck your faced against, it's really lame to have a consecutive win event in a luck based game. No skill involved in getting 5 wins back to back, it's all about luck..

@@shadowfax859 I agree, not a fan of consecutive win events. Much prefer the total wins event instead. Hoping to see more of those in the future. That said I'm still gonna grind this one lmao

@gameBlendNetwork Yeah been trying and got 4 and then got outmatched and of course get worst pulls during that match, feels rigged sometimes. EDIT: I finally got it, but definitely luck was on my side. First 2 conceded right away.

I really wish people would give the real TCG game a shot. It's far better, sad to see it not do as well. It's also got way to much coin flip pokemon, and is a little bit too simple

@@skatehampton for me it’s just the convenience of being able to do everything from my phone and not having the cost of buying packs to build out your decks. I don’t think the physical cards are really going to go anywhere but I do see this taking up a chunk of the interest going forward.

the only money i spent is for the premium pass at $10 per month for an extra pack a day. definitely worth it, imo. i already have all 3 meta decks (char-arc, mewtwo and pika), but my favourite deck to play with is the cheap arbok/weezing koga deck 🙂

@ bro, you could always reroll.I did not settle with my deck until i got 1 mewtwo, 1 charizard, and a pika with other EXes. I rerolled like maybe 5 times. But that was a month ago. I don’t know if the rates are still the same.

@@gameBlendNetwork Mewtwo deck takes till turn 4/5 to attack. Misty can literally win in turn 1.

@@Ch4nKyyoh I agree it’s definitely a busted card. You really can’t do anything but hope it lands tails. They probably should have made misty more in line with the Blaine card or Brock cards, giving advantage to only certain water pokemon.
