Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch one Pokémon per "Encounter"
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader (game enforced)
6. Play on manual "Set" battle mode
Soul Link Rules:
7. Pokémon are linked based on encounter location. Both players teams must have the same set of linked Pokémon at all times,
8. If one player's Pokémon dies, the linked Pokémon also dies (at the end of the battle).

Agreed, but then again i watch FlygonHG more than any other nuzlocker cause of the storylines he crafts rather than the difficulty of his runs (since he mostly plays vanilla obv) so as long as he's having enough fun to keep uploading im good lol

Fun fact about your freeze against pryce. Using a move that has a chance to burn will defrost you, including scald. Hence flame wheels 10% chance to burn, you defrosted

Nope its just around 8 moves that defrost. For example flamethrower, heat wave and a lot more do not defrost even they have a chance to burn.

I'm having so much more fun playing Emerald rogue than any other pokemon game. I feel like gamefreak should really get in on this and make a game. Started out playing roguelites with Binding of Isaac and what really hooked me was that it was just straight randomness, especially after you unlock everything. I still haven't beaten the elite 4, but I love the randomness of this game. Just need to unlock the rest of the Pokémon first, but that's really hard, because gym leader order really matters.

I don't mind if you fail nuzlockes, keep challenge yourself and don't worry about losing as long as you make it to attempt 10-20 (depending on where you wipe) or the elite four I think you have a solid video.
