I've watched a lot of your videos Matti, but this is one of my favorites. Perfect example of a new way to innovate Nuzlockes, even in a very familiar game, that makes the challenge experience very different. The meta of what Pokemon are good gets flipped from a standard Emerald Nuzlocke and it was super fun watching you figure that out. Illumise was one of the most important Pokemon of the run and that's not a sentence I thought I would hear!! I would love to watch a Vod for this challenge if available because it would be fun to see your thought process throughout the challenge and how you realized some of these neat work-arounds to healing here. Also didn't know I needed to see Matti's face on an Electrode begging not to die but that's something I'll never unsee. I love Pokemon Emerald and I apprecaite all your efforts to keep revisiting this awesome game. You're killing it dude :D

This was such a fun challenge to watch. Always so great to see all the ways you can get creative and find workarounds for the rules you set yourself. I predicted at the beginning that Wish would have a big part in the run, but I'm used to seeing it on Umbreon, so seeing Kansas the Illumise really come in clutch was such a refreshing change of pace. The most fun part of these videos is truly seeing you figure out ways to make even the most seemingly useless pokes into heroic linchpins of the run.

I appreciate how you played with the rules for this challenge rather than being overly strict, it made the strats you were going to use far more entertaining and it felt like you were being clever rather than brute forcing it. The biggest example is Kansas going into the box a couple times and coming back out because she was at full HP and could mess around with TMs, HMs, and Move Re learner stuff. Was a great watch!

great video! definitely doubted if this was even possible, but this challenge and the strategies you used were a delight to watch. I will say, the vibe of this channel definitely has changed over time. I miss the more low-key commentary and humor of some of the older videos, personally. regardless, this video was super fun. the electrode bit at the end got me, lmao

This video is incredible and that final move was absolutely necessary, I hope you do this challenge in other games too.
