Such a shame I discovered your content after you've gone on hiatus. Thank you though, your succinct editing, reliable audio, detailed commentary and the overall quality of these projects is several cuts above what you'd even expect from a 50-100k subscriber channel. I hope you return to KZbin at some point, your videos are a joy to enjoy and I really just want more of what you do!

Just discovered you and i honestly was looking for this kind of content. I love how you go into detail of potential encounters and actual talk about and show each gym fight unlike the shorter form nuzlocke style content. You can tell alot of time and research going into these run and i look forword to seeing the next run!

Little bit of constructive criticism. I noticed that when you gray out the type icons, it is hard to tell if you already have a steel type earlier on in the run, because the icon is a gray color by default. Maybe consider putting an X over the type icon if it has been taken next time. I do enjoy this concept and your content style. Keep up the good work!

I've never wanted to do a nuzlocke, and I certainly am not ready for such an extreme one as this. I do have to say though, I'm finally trying one after binging basically all of your challenges. I got my Emerald copy out, and currently as of beating Brawly I've not had a single loss, as close as it's gotten. I do hope you're able to come back, but if not just know you inspired at least one person to get into nuzlockes! Edit: My poor Wingull didn't survive long after this comment, going down to a crit from Team Aqua's Carvanha in Slateport.

This was an interesting run. I think you have some room for improvement when it comes to playing around crits though.

Answering the Macho Brace/HM Mule question, I play as if it's the real run. If there are no mons left to use an HM, the run is dead and I have to reset. Same goes for the Macho Brace. There is no way to obtain it under the following ruleset so you should not be able to use it. Otherwise I'd be catching a Relicanth in all of my Emerald playthroughs to unlock the Regi trio.

As for the Macho Brace question, I personally allow anything that’s a time saving measure. Similar to what Pchal does with Rare Candies. If I had unlimited time every Pokémon would be brought to the level cap before fighting a gym leader, by fighting lower level wild pokemon with no risk of losing anyone so I use cheats to put rare candies in my bag. In the same way I could spend all that time EV training my pokemon the Macho Brace just makes it go faster.

Yes but with infinite time you can get infinite berries, items from underground so infinite money as well, so infinite casino coins as well, so infinite TM, etc. Basically we remove any grind in the game and give us everything making things legit easier than where we play casually whithout nuzlock and editing saves imo . BTW why ev train your pokemon since u can edit that as well like the rare candies i dont really understand.

@@Jonathan-dy9juThats all bad faith argumentation and not relevant. Some people dont think grinding is particularly fair and I agree. Grinding means any mon that doesnt learn offensive moves by level up will have to rely on switch training, because this game was never intended to be played this way so the answer would be just switch in and out until the pokemon you wanna use learns useful moves. The issue, most pokemon will die before they learn a useful move if ypu attempt to grind the old fahsioned way. Basically, grinding is nuzlockes is its own challenge and unless you actually play eith grinding, I dont care what you think. Theres alot of people who dont even nuzlocke that have opinions about this and honestly, how do you form an opinion about something youve never done?

@@SpaceBoyDigital i actuelly did nuzlocke several games (crystal platinum fire red heartgold emerald & ruby) and won them so my opinion is legit ^^
