Banette is by far my favorite pokemon period. The lore around Banette reminds me of a story from my childhood of the Ticky Tacky Doll and after seeing the Pokemon Journey episode of Nurse Joy reuniting with her doll-turned-Banette, it just made me love Banette even more

I also did a ghost monolocke (not streamed or recorded ofc) since paldea introduced too many AWESOME new ghosts and had a great pool to chose (like the free gengar and stuff) so it was nice seeing someone else realize this was a fun idea. Just wanna point out a few things: 1 You can get Mimikyu b4 Giaccomo in south province 3 (I think) which is the one south if levincia, it spawns in the small ruins and that's how I beat giaccomo 2 The Elite 4 level cap does allow for a Dragapult (sure did that) 3 Brambleghast was a true mvp in my run, absolutely surprised and pleased with my boy 4 Skeliderge sweeps Gheetas team except 4 glimora, was kinda sad not seeing you do that

My favorite ghost type prior to Scarlet/Violet was Aegislash. I love the Ghost/Steel typing, and something about a haunted sword/shield was just cool to me. In Scarlet/Violet, it's a toss up between Skeledirge and Annihilape. Torch Song is Goated and the coverage Annihilape gets is unreal. Overall, Ghost type in general is at least in my top 3 favorite types.

Don't stress the losses and have fun. You'll see mostly full game victories here on youtube, but most content creators have already admitted to abusing save states and cheating for better videos or to to meet release deadlines. Don't compare yourself to them. Play it, have fun, and see how far you can go with the goal of trying out new mons, moves, and strategies, and you'll have a good time even when you wipe.

I have questions to everyone in the comments. So I’m doing a fighting type nuzlocke on Pokémon scarlet. I was fighting Kofu and I sweep him with Gallade. Once the fight was over the game crashed and had to redo the fight. Kept getting headbutt flinch the second and the sandstorm actually started the second type and my Pawmot ended up dying. So my question is should I count it as a dead mon or not since I did sweep the first time but the game crashed?

Favorite Ghost type: Chandelure. Killer typing, incredible special attack and has such a cool design with some seriously unsettling dex entries: burning the soul of its victims in its central flame, leaving the soul to wander aimlessly forever. It’s haunting.

My first run of Violet was also a mono-Ghost Nuzlocke but I completely lost to Iono's Mismagius. Still kept playing normally with only ghost types and Clavel was definitely the hardest fight in the game, he made me change my strategy like 3 times. My final team was Gholdengo, Dragapult, Skeledirge, Ceruledge, Mimikyu and Grass-Tera Palossand
