Your team is good but according to me, Togekiss and Gyarados are perfect choices. Ethan should have a Sudowoodo because Snorlax is Red's exclusive. Red owned an Espeon in GSC, it would be better for Ethan to not have any Eeveelution at all. Kanto starters🤔 I don't think so. And for Johto starters, why not just have all three of them. Other then these, Ethan can have some other Pokemon as well, such as Ambipom from Manga. Suicune or other legendary beasts should definitely be in Ethan's team. Team if Ethan uses one starter only: • Togekiss • Gyarados (Shiny) • Sudowoodo • Ambipom • Suicune/Entei/Raikou (According to starter) • Meganium/Feraligatr/Typhlosion And all these were my personal oponions^

@@UltraAryan10 I gave Ethan a Snorlax because you can catch one in Kanto blocking Diglett Tunnnel and I wanted a Pokemon to represent his Kanto Journey Him having Espeon or Umbreon is a nod to the Eevee given to you by Bill in Goldenrod and having Espeon and or Umbreon represents the day and night cycles that were introduced in Gen II, also there aren't many trainers that use those eevolutions, especially Umbreon I gave him a Kanto Starter cause Prof.Oak in HGSS gives you one after battling Red, again i wanted a Pokemon that reflected his Kanto Journey, Gladion has a Kanto Starter so why not Gold? I wouldn't give Gold/Ethan all 3 starters as there's no way you can get all 3 of them aside from trading I'd probably give him Suicine as it was the most story relevant Ambipom isn't a bad choice, considering that Gamefreak based some of Red Blue and Greene's teams off the manga in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee

Heart Gold was my first Pokémon game. I know it doesn’t seem like much, because most people would’ve started with Red and Blue, but this game has really stuck with me. Totodile is my favourite starter to date, and my first ever Pokémon.

Usually when I play Johto games I pick Chikorita and often like to think Hibiki[[Gold/Ethan’s Japanese name]] picked Chikorita instead of the other two starters with Silver choosing Cyndaquil leaving Kotone[[Lyra]] with Totodile could be interesting for an AU story. I hope if we ever get a new Johto game Kotone becomes more of a rival then just a friend and battles you and like your other rival you can name her too.
