I mean Bronzor can either have Heatproof or Levitate so the abillity is good for the team no matter what since fire is also a major weakness.

i think heatproof is also good but levitate is an immunity which is better than a resistance but also he can use empoleon on fire types but he has nothing on ground types as empoleon cant resist rock

This would be the most difficult Pokémon game if the friendship mechanic wasn’t merged with affection. Anime plot armor saved this run honestly. Still was fun to watch though! Maybe next run of BDSP use the medicine herbs to keep friendship down so no anime plot armor. Makes the game a genuine challenge.
