Pokemon, But They Have 60 Seconds Before They EXPLODE

I attempted a Hardcore Nuzlocke in Pokemon White 2 Challenge Mode, but I have 60 seconds to KO my opponent's Pokemon. If I run out of time, I must use Self-Destruct and lose that Pokemon forever!

The special rules for this Challenge:
1. I have 60 seconds to KO my opponent's Pokemon. The Pokemon must leave the screen before 60 seconds are up. If I don't, I must stay in and use Self-Destruct on the next turn.
2. The 60 second rule only applies for trainer battles, not wild Pokemon. Double battles apply but triple battles do not.
3. After 30 seconds, I cannot lock in a selection to switch Pokemon. This prevents me from intentionally blowing up weak Pokemon if something goes wrong.
The normal Hardcore Nuzlocke rules for this challenge:
1. Only catch the first Pokemon on each route. (Duplicates Clause: If my first encounter is a duplicate, I can re-roll)
2. If a Pokemon faints, it must be released.
3. No over-leveling above the gym leader's highest level.
4. No items in battle.
5. Play on Set Mode.

Things I learned from my Pokemon Nuzlocke: Number 1: Critical Hits are scary. Number 2: Scared to sacrifice a Pokemon if that Pokemon is very versatile, but also very great. Number 3: Double battles. Number 4: Near death. Especially for Elfilin (Stoutland) survived in the red, like twice in battle now. First time was on Caitlin, and the final time was on Ghetsis, who survived a weakened Head Smash. I'm also going to begin a Pokemon Teamlocke. Which is a Pokemon Nuzlocke, but with a team mechanic. Some Pokemon will have to cover the weaknesses, and some Pokemon will help to deal with these difficulties, and if I have a status, a two-turn, or a strong attack, I should be able to use it. And if I have no clear counters or a Pokémon dies, I remove the Level Cap, and start my leveling process. The final time would be the Elite Four. (N and Ghetsis are too.)

I feel like the challenge is rigged because the emulated game speed isn't the same as the console speed. It is slower, making the challenge even harder

I think he didn't speed up in major fights, at all. He just speeds up during wild encounters and each time that he enters a fight, he turns off the speed up.

4 names in (Hunt, Neo, Mills, Durden) and I'm confident in my guess for the naming theme - late 90's movie characters. Hunt is Ethan Hunt of Mission Impossible (1996) fame, Neo is Neo from The Matrix (1999), Mills is Detective Mills from Se7en (1997), and Durden is Tyler Durden from Fight Club (1998). I'm 95 seconds into the video, I'll edit this comment if I'm wrong. Edit: Dang, Connor is probably John Connor from Terminator 2 (1992?), invalidating my late 90's guess. It's probably just 90's movie characters, I was too specific. Edit2: Yeah, there are a bunch of 70's and 80's movie characters in that blitz. Wrong x2, it's just main characters of Hollywood films. Faked me out good. Edit3: Your Under Siege reference is noticed and appreciated sir. You have great taste in awful movies lol

I had a similar situation to yours, in that I found a shiny excadrill in a team battle with bianca. I ended up killing most of bianca’s Pokemon and then using the master ball the moment I got it. My crobat did die while I was trying to catch it though

If you’re going to be playing on challenge mode, you should probably have a level caps be around three levels below your opponents levels. Challenge mode is bugged so while their levels display is higher, they have the exact same stats as if they were a lower level, so you should continue to use the same level cap as normal mode, otherwise you’re basically playing on a three level advantage and challenge mode is actually easier besides the held items
