I don't think you need to explain or "justify" that you're using tools to speed the shiny hunt. It's a really tedious process and honestly you look a lot more happy when you're playing something else on stream while the bot does the job. From my point of view this challenge is really hard and you're pulling it off like a pro. Congratulations and I'll keep watching the streams

Wow you are actually doing every single task for PLA professor Oak challenge? Well, uh, good luck for catching a sleeping Snorlax in Space Time Distortion in the Chrimson Mirelands, that's one mission I don't think I can do. (Out of space time distortions the first time you can find a sleepable wild snorlax is in the Icelands, but Pokemon CAN fall asleep in distortions so.......) Other than that, cases like evolve 4 Wyrdeers or Spam 100 strong style moves by Machamp is some fairly tame missions. Catching 15 Flying Togekiss on the top of Lake Verity before fighting Klevor may be a bit difficult but it's something you can pull it off by spamming wing balls.

I use a mix but preferably use an emulator. The GB Operator allows me to transfer saves between cartridge and PC, but I prefer the higher quality footage, speedup, and PKHex usage for accelerating grinding/item collection for video purposes.
