Almost 20 episodes in and I think it's safe to say this loosened-up approach to just playing a game, doing whatever content in it you want, and having fun is definitely a great direction for your channel. The in-depth walk-throughs have always been amazing, though there's games where they're better watching them be experienced than watching them be showcased

I just beat Jasmine as the 14th gym in my Crystal Clear run, and I can say I never expected to see a gym leader with level 70 mons.

You know you kind of forgot Thunder can hit Pokémon “in the air.” If you didn’t know, I believe rock slide and thunder can hit flying mons no matter what. However accuracy can make it miss. So I can understand why you choose not to use it.

funnily enough, it's a common misconception about Rock Slide, due to Bruno's Machamp having the move and No Guard in gen 4.

Self-destruct is a 200 base power move that halves the defense of the opponent so Tangela is basically getting hit by a 400 base power move. There was no way it was surviving that in this gen.

Do any of Falkner's Crystal Clear teams have a Noctowl? If not, then the devs dropped the ball by, much like Game Freak, not letting Falkner have a Gen 2 Pokémon on his team. It should have replaced his second Pidgeot.

I used a randomizer to get Gastly as a starter and I completed Leafgreen with just one Gengar in the end :P

does anyone know why gligar is ground/flying and not poison/flying despite being a flying scorpion?

It can be considered a bat as well with only the barb having poison. It also emphasizes it's immunity to poison with it's skill and once it evolves it gets poison heal. Some scorpions do live in the sand which can probably be a possible reason it has the ground typing and uses it's wings to glide which provides the flying typing.

Not trying to spoil anything for you or anything like that, but 8 badges is not enough to take on the Elite Four in Crystal Clear. Don't get me wrong, its all that is required, but you will not be prepared at that point.

Since the 8th gym have around level 45 mons, I thought I was overleveled for the E4. Then DJ Fef came around and stomped me flat.

I love Ampharos! My first ever shiny was a Mareep back on silver, who was lost to the internal battery dying before they ever got to fully evolve. But back during X&Y a friend of mine bred a shiny Mareep for me that I used for most of the game, which was totally awesome!

Boyyyy, you need to grind hahaha Elite 4 is all above 50, some are 60 or even 70! If you go to the league with all pokemon lvl 30 you go a regret easily
