@Salamencer1 Walking through any entrance/exit is referred to as a portal. And, for reference, rather than doing the alt+3 autofire L thing, you can just hold L when you walk through a portal. It's the same thing, autofire effectively keeps L held forever.

@GreyKarma4 The same as here. They appeared in FireRed/LeafGreen in the same way as here. Mew wasn't catchable in-game (except Mew glitch from RGBY) until Emerald, and it's still the only game with in-game location for Mew.

It never occured to me before. But i think i found out how the creators of pokemon came up with Deoxys. The name came to me when my professor in college (Anatomy and Physiology Biology) said Deoxy Ribose. I think that is what the D stands for in DNA. And i went to myself "that sounds familiar." Also, DNA takes on the helix shape. And DNA are long strands. These facts looks like it was joined to create the pokemon, Deoxys.

@GreyKarma4 Via event. Or using codes to get items that are needed for them. Jirachi is so far the only Pokémon from the old (I-IV) generations to not have in-game location. Manaphy was available via Pokémon Ranger and Phione is received by breeding (wait, Phione's a legendary?) and other old (again, I-IV) legendary Pokémon were available wild in at least one game (via event item or normally without it).

Deoxys:After putting it into a very small hp, wasted about 20 ultra balls (and few Pokémon which were about Deoxys's level) - caught it... Mew:Tried to get shiny and gave up with getting shiny after about hour... Then... one ultra ball and Mew is mine lol. After some time find out HP stats and IVs. HP was Dragon-type, while highest IV was in Speed with 29, lowest in Special Defense with 1, hp was 26, def 25, Special Attack 11 and attack 4. HP Power is 40. Ho-Oh and Lugia aren't caught as of now.

Yeah, there were events for them a while ago. If you've missed out you can only get them through trade or through cheats.

@willzer1995 You could if you went to the events back in the mid-00s. Unfortunately, that is no longer possible as Nintendo moved on to Generation IV, and has just started Generation V in Japan. Since this guy is using an emulator, he does the events through cheats.

In crystal or gold you can trade Lugia from Pokémon Silver.In Pokémon Silver it is automatically there. In Pokémon Fire Red or Leaf Green,you can get it after obtaining Suicune, Raikou,and Entei after completing the Kanto Pokédex. In Emerald, Sapphire, or Ruby, you can trade it from Fire Red or Leaf Green after obtaining the national Pokédex in both games or use a Gameshark. In Pokémon Diamond or Pearl, you can migrate them form Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald, Sapphire, or Ruby. You're welcome

I've got Windows, but I think it's the same. 1. Go to Visualboyadvance. 2. Load Emerald 3. Go to the tab "Cheats" at the top 4. Click "Remove all" to make sure there aint any other cheats there. 5. Click "Gameshark". 6. Put the code IN THE CODE WINDOW!!! Not in the title window. 7. Now you click OK, and then OK again. 8. Now you are probably in the game again, so go to a Pokemart. 9. Talk to the guy who sells the things in Pokemart. 10. Buy Master Ball for 0 Pokedollar. If that doesn't work..
