48:04 This is the exact reason I got stuck in Emerald after the 7th Gym as a kid. The Sky Pillar was never mentioned even once in the entire game, so how tf was I supposed to know where to find it, and I never once stumbled across it by accident. Young me would have never guessed to try surfing near the rocks by Pacifidlog Town. I just super-leveled my Swampert to like level 83 or something lol

Lots of NPCs in their houses refer to Sky Pillar in piecemeal, even it being located on Route 131. If you talk to everyone in IIRC Lilycove, Sootopolis, and Pacifidlog, each one gives a piece of the puzzle as to what and where Sky Pillar is. You can then locate it on your own.

@@Pyth110 I really appreciate games that force you to have some interaction with some NPC's. Speedrunning, or experienced play in general, is a caveat here, but if a game is full of characters and people to talk to and dialogue to discover it feels like such a waste of immersion to skate by and ignore them all.

you can find Ho-oh/lugia, though im unsure about mew. I dont think faraway island is in the logic due to the whole fact you cant access the faraway island loading zones so it perhaps can get locked. anyways, love the whole bingo concept! this was very fun to watch. Id love to see more content on this, and if youre planning on doing this in the future for HGSS, defo plan a longer stream :)

Hi, Pikasprey. I'm the developer of TRASLA, a more advanced alternative to the warp randomizer you used, if you will. Since you are doing a lot of Gen I stuff, how would you like a Pokémon Yellow warp randomizer? Or a Red/Blue one for that matter? I already planned to include one in my tool a long time ago and it might take less than two weeks to implement it. I think it would be awesome to see you use it when it's done. Also, I take specific feature requests. Your bingo card idea is definitely something cool and things like that could be incorporated into the software as well.

I'm pretty sure you were semi softlocked before the sky pillar door. The cycling road guy wouldn't have let you go back either. So it was a double whammy of one way doors.

Pokémon like abra or ralts that know teleport are very useful for the early part of the randomizer, for it prevents most softlocks and works like an early fly… (fly naturally is even more useful…)

The Regis could possibly "fly" away for the same reason Gandalf tells the rest of the fellowship to "fly, you fools!" Either that or the translation was a bit shoddy for that dialogue. Also, I'm not yet sure if you got an answer to this, but according to the bulbapedia the Lilycove rooftop does become inaccessible during the weather fight.

Just gonna say.... ummm, you can heal at you house by sleeping or talking to MOM. Also, you freaked out about the stuff past Rustburrow, which you can destroy with a lvl 7 starter 🙄. Also Greatball the freaking Golbat! It's a solid Pokemon, and honestly, it can evolve with all your running around. Explore everything that you can, lol. Especially New Mauville, you can do that w/o the key since you just step on a switch to turn off the Generator. Which might make Watson's Gym free 🤔. Attempt to catch more stuff too, you gave up some solid encounters which would help you further on 😂
