I was wondering if she figured that out later in the episode. Guess not. A hint to Nyog. There are a lot of onscreen tooltips that tell you how to do things. So don't be afraid to look around the whole screen whenever whenever a new interface shows up.

It's an easy thing to miss since you wouldn't regularly look at the corners of your map aside from telling what markers mean what on the map or how to move and zoom the map. Not like the game tells you and wish that it marks dungeons by default in it's own category instead of what I do and mostly tag them when I find them.

@annareifer2249 As an avid survival games player, that was the first thing i was looking for, when i opened the map :) Though the marker system is a bit lacking. Not enough differentiating markers and it would be great if you can make a written message to them. Still better than nothing.

It's why people liked the feature of letting your pokemon follow you so you can bond more.

Yeah but having the pokemon follow you in pokemon games really adds nothing at the end of the day. Cause what is it doing? they're just walking behind you. In comparison, these guys help you with everything, you can ride them, they can help you glide, they protect you, you protect them, you can pet them, you can feed them... And in this game when they're out they don't just walk behind you, they walk ahead of you and then turn around to look at you when you stop, it's soooooo freakin cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute

You can save a lot of health by timing summons and recalls just right. I'm glad you're having a great time with the game. I love the editing. I kinda wish you were a bit more observant with the UI, though. XD

1- you can use right click to do continuous building 2- you can add markers to the map, just press E 3-broken tools/weapons don't protect you as much/do as much damage 4- some pal mounts are much faster then others, Fenglope is one of the fastest ground mounts Hope this helps :D

The foundation tile need work. It doesn't connect to the bottom of the slope tile with stairs like in fallout 4. Well the building tiles snapping together need overhaul in general.

Yep. Somehow I just didn't connect that I was plucking skill-giving fruits from a tree, a skill tree if you will, until someone pointed it out in another video. I got a real kick out of that when I realized it.

In my case, my first base was actually in the stone ruins behind the initial spawn point, as it's a naturally defensible location, since hostile Raids can only come at you from two different directions, and both paths into said area force the attackers through very narrow chokepoints. Only real drawback was that it was a bit too cramped for a Breeding Farm or Ranch to comfortably fit without first building a large enough platform for it to rest on.

For anyone that might care, you can catch galeclaws at Lv 10 on an island that's at the north west of the starting area (Forgotten Island, it's one of the spawn points). Sadly, you need Lv 23 to use them as a glider, but at least you can get one earlier.

Same! She reminds me so much of my daughter (yeah I’m that old) as she seems not to used to the mechanics of survival games, which makes it’s so endearing to see her figuring it out as she goes. There a balance where you want to help people out but also not spoil the fun of learning by yourself. 6:44 on the map you can place perminant custom markers from a set of like 6 icons to indicate, items, dangerous pal spawn areas, resorces, i havint yet tested in theres a lmit to the number of custom icons you can set... probably is. shrugs ^^; as for how fun it is watching someone build bases, im subed to channels like wiljem, and luke the notable, becuase theyre channels are focused on building, so theres definatly an audience for you if thats something your already into, it fits well to add it if you like, the sparkily pals are rare buffed versions with rare more powerful skills, to name your pals select party from the menue, select a pal, and select edit, ^^ also on ridin not only will you find faster pals, but theres also abilities that pals can be breed with or spawn with that further boost speed, remember to cheak your technology branch to see new riding saddles to unlock and craft when you get new pals. also flying pals, and you can use all the attacks of a pal while riding.

Something I do when trying to catch a Pal, is instead of making my pal return, I change it to not attack. When changed to not attack, you can atleast have it take the attention of the wild pal while you try catching it

Know that if you're in your base, when crafting you can pull materials from your chest. So you don't need to have the mats in your inventory to craft stuff when in your base. Just have a buncha chests with various materials. Also when in your chest you can press R to auto stack things into the chest. VERY useful.

My base is right below the desolate church around the corner from you, so I build the statue of power, upgrade then break it since there’s one just up the hill from me

Just to let you know, there is a dodge button to help you evade attacks. It's Ctrl on keyboard or B/Circle on controller (or you can change the key binds) It's super helpful later on for bosses and Alpha Pals since you absolutely need to stay alive in order to defeat them

Some small tips: -map markers are the E button (you can set a design as well) -try to upgrade your base's level so you can make a second base, which is best near a lot of ore chunks -in the world settings, there is something called "building decay" which I heavily recommend you turn off because builds outside of bases disappearing randomly is just irritating -get a ranch and put a Vixy in for pal spheres, arrows, and gold (you need to pick up the Vixy and throw it at the ranch to job assign) -get Depressos (dark blue bipedal koalas) for your base; they're nocturnal and work around the clock - also they're adorable when you pet them See you in the next video.

1) You should try to craft saddle to that violet deer , cause it has better speed and can use double jump. 2)You also can craft daedream necklace, where it will be always outside the palsphere, and ready to fight eventhough other pal is currently out. 3) Lucky/ shiny pal can be detected nearby when you hear a strange sound. Also it is rare , bigger in size, stats and has powerful moveset . So really need to be careful when facing them cause even lucky lamball or chikipi at low level can dish out a strong blast .

Nice video! And yes, Melpaca's are like the worst mount in the game :p a few tips for solo play, group your bases together as they only function properly while you're within a certain distance. Otherwise they're super inefficient. Also build the big bell object you get early and set it to pals working (it stops them from not functioning every time you leave). I'm sure you'll figure out that alt is roll, but I'll mention it. You can also edit pal names in their menu (under party).

You can build a defensive wall outside the boss area, if it's on an open field. Boss moves on huge areas and if it's on open field wood or stone fence will help a lot

You can turn structure degradation off in the world settings. I've noticed people will sometimes build a quick campfire, workbench, chest, or repair bench out in the field. On a dedicated multiplayer server this may cause issues when too many structures exist in random places, hence why structures decay.

Two features you should definitly get aquainted with (If you haven´t yet at this point): Dodge-rolls (Control button) and the elemental strengths/weaknesses. For example your Daedream (Dark) actually had type disadvantage against the Chillet worldboss (Dragon) which is why it barely could do any damage (On top of being a bit underleveled too).

You should have gotten the Mamorest in between you and the Chillet, so they would fight, then you could potentially catch both of them.

6:43 I think you at this point already knows that it’s not stone but ore and you need that for making metal tools and a lot of more things. Edit: You can make a saddle for your Elk so you can rid it, you need a special Pal workbench for that.

Just a bit of trivia. When you tried to move your palbox your pal was in the way. Dismissing pal when building will make it a lot easier. Enjoy the game I certainly do.

I respect shameless advertising, but already subed after first video xD also, if you have a knocked out pal in party, it will get back after you sleep a night in a bed. And if you team does too much dmg, just pull them back into the sphere and the ones you try to catch will only chase you, and not get hurt unless you hit them. If you catch more malpacas, look for the ones with skills like "Runner" or "Swift" they have good deal more movespeed

You can fix the house disappearing thing if you change the world settings and turn off(or all the way down I forget) the building deterioration setting, look around you will find it. It being on is more of a multiplayer thing, and it's to prevent the world from being bogged down load wise.

just a friendly tip. dont abuse your base palls for fighting. sometimes there is a bug where they are perpetually in fighting mode spamming one specific animation and are unable to do anything, no reloading the game with solve it. the only way is to dismantle the base and then rebuild it from scratch. i learned this the hard way when i tried to cheese a end game boss this way. you got lucky if the fox sparks situation there but it could have been worse, specially if you put allot of time into a base like i did when i got the bug. your avatar is cute, am a bit confused about the hand situation and i enjoyed the vid will follow along your pal world adventure.

Oh, that was big brain move to defeat dinossum by the hands of mamorest. Dinossum is a pretty strong guy! I use one in my team, called her "Astra". And she serves me well: pals gain new skills while leveling up, so now we are at our 35ths and hunting mamorests together

If you play on PC, try Strg in fight and C when you sprint downwards. And when your weapon is broken it is "gone" as long as you repair it. And you can call your Pals back in fight to dodge attacks and to not kill the Pals you want to catch. If you attack a low level with a high level Pal your Pal will kill it faster. And when the enemy Pal has a higher level it does more damage to you and your Pals.

Idk about pc but on my xbox I can add markers to the map. I use the bread icon for Skill trees and the boss Icon for dungeons. I hope you enjoy this game! Also your voice is very soothing haha

Like you said, since most of your pokemon aren't with you you don't really get attached to them. If your like me, then you tend to just look for stronger pokemon and replace the ones in your main party constantly. The pals are always helping you in the multiple bases you have, so you get attached to them or you end up hating some of them at times for being dumb

Idea for base building content: you can put in the video what you want to build and show your result. Example you want to build a new spear, than show us you poking a boss with it.

If you want to command a pal, press 4, it gives you 3 options, 1. To not attack 2. Attack Aggressively 3. Focus on same enemy, That's one thing game need to do, introduce the mechanics in a proper way, well it's an early access game, so there will be improvement later on Also for building structures, use right click for continuous building and not opening menu everytime, although it's on screen, but it's very easy to miss... I really like your gameplay and commentary...👍

A lil tip that I think will help. I see you a lot of times jump to avoid damage. Try to roll instead, it's faster and gives a little invincible frames, like Dark Souls type games.

Alright, so I recommend catching a Vixy at your level due to how hard it can be to craft pal spheres, if you catch a Vixy you can put them in your ranch and they will dig up Cloth, Pal Spheres and Arrows.

Build a shield. It works like another health bar that replenishes pretty fast if you don't take damage.
