I hate the ranked ladder right now, a good meta pick is Zapdos Galarian, Thunderous Kick one shots bulky physical Incineroar after Defiant boost with 116 Atk EV investment, give it 236 EVs in Speed and rest in bulk, it has answers to many of the threats

@Endershock1678 araquanid and Volcarona are the only ones I can think of, lol Scizor could cook too. There is the option of terastalization too since bug would be valuable for its offense over defense here. Tera Bug Heatran comes to mind. Our biggest problem for bug types is Incineroar really since so many bug moves are physical.

I've been exploring this concept some more and the biggest problem I found with it is just how ineffective bugs are against the dark types. Strong Neutral hits are good and all but unless you're a specs Vikavolt or Volcarona it isn't worth it. And speaking of Volcarona, it's fire typing is more valuable than it's bug typing. It's the only bug type, including terastalization, who might make a meta impact. Also Incineroar's Fire+Dark STAB coverage ironically makes it just as effective as the bug types. Which is interesting because it's also the best tera-bug leech life spammer.

As somebody living in India, having no access to tournaments with open team sheets since Pokemon is obscure here, playing on the ranked ladder against janky stuff is just ruining the fun, I have seen crazier things like Normal tera, normal gem Explosion Metagross and Flutter Mane lead etc. I hope we get tournaments in India some day in future.

Rock Ogrepon rising in use makes sense to me between Sturdy and the defense boost when terra'd in a physical attacker rise as well as Torn being basically omnipresent and Fire types on the rise, Rock type attacks sound like a nice thing to have.
