3:10 If you’ll recall Tim, the original game was made back during Gen 3 (it’s Gen 9 now). As Lucario wasn’t a full fledged wild Pokemon yet this dialogue hinted at his eventual inclusion in the Pokédex during Gen IV. Munchlax, Bonsly and Mime Jr were much the same.

I remember when people used to think Lucario would be a legendary. It was really surprising when I found it was was not only a regular Pokemon, but had a pre-evolution.

Something that you may not notice at first is that these new dungeons won’t show you where enemies or items are on the floor until you enter a room. So now it’s harder to find items and easier to run into Monster houses

Solar Cave opens up because originally Whiscash talks about and gives you HM Dive, and that's where you get a replacement one if you lose it (as well as few other HMs that are crucial for exploring all dungeons). 11:29 - Hi, welcome to game hating your guts. If a Shedinja spawns on floor, the AI will beeline towards it and kill it to Awaken. 12:33 - Probably had Sand Veil, which increases your evasion in sandstorm.

Darknight Relic is guilty of the Shedinja too. It's a real horror dungeon. Back on the original games it was just a tough run of the mill dungeon with ghosts.

2:34 They did add a camp, you just blasted through the text without noticing it. 8:06 some move are indeed unlocked by evolving so checking them is a good thing.

Kekekeke, here we go. In the old games, this is what told you where the next “story beat” will be. I would train up a bit, earn some money and maybe explore the new areas cause if you cannot handle them, you won’t be able to handle the Stormy Sea. So, if you wanna keep using Chunkalatte, you nearly have a perfect moveset already. Uproar is a weak attack, but acts like a Normal Type Blizzard. Good catch on Fury Swipes as it is basically Doubleslap. The other moves can be swapped out for any TMs you like, but you cannot go wrong with staples like Blizzard and Flamethrower. So here is a gripe I had about the old games. You needed to actually have certain TM moves on your team to be able to go to certain dungeons. You needed a Pokemon with Fly to get to Sky Tower again for example. The moves were decent, but forced you to either have the TM in your inventory or on a team member. In the past, I was a Treecko and my partner was a Charmander. We couldn’t learn the moves, so unfortunately I had to have the TM in the bag… I wiped really often and due to not having any guides to turn to, was really confused when I eventually lost the TM and couldn’t figure out where to get another one. Ah the Desert Region. This area really tests you against some of the synergies a Pokemon and their Dungeon can have. Desert Region is frequently in a Sandstorm and Sunlight and many Pokemon thrive here. The Shedninja that live here also are a special type of Pokemon that helps the enemies trigger the Empowerment status by giving them an easy target dummy to defeat. This is also a noteworthy dungeon because a special Pokemon spawns as a Fainted Pokemon. Meowth is one of the starters in this game and can be recruited here. You experienced a synergy here. Sandshrew have Sand Veil. It makes all attacks against them have a 0.7x multiplier to accuracy. Sandshrew and Sandslash are actually one of the most dangerous Pokemon when Sandstorm is up. The old version of the Desert Region is interesting. It is classified as a bonus dungeon and is unlocked when you buy a Friend Area called Furnace Desert. In that game, it was a difficult dungeon with quite nice rewards. It also had special Keys that spawned on the final 2 floors. These keys were used to open special locks in other dungeons, usually leading to good TMs or other items as bonus loot.

i'm pretty sure the new post game dungeons (i dont mean stormy sea, since it's basically a story dungeon) are all there to teach you about new postgame stuff you'll be encountering, like the awakened status. so it makes them a bit more gimmicky but not so bad if u know how to counterplay them. they also give u a couple new places to do rescues, which will help get higher ranks quicker

The Vs tag next to Mt. Blaze means there’s a boss (Moltres in this case) that you can rematch there. Absol also suggested in the last episode that you might want to revisit the three legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) now that you’re in the postgame.

The story dungeons (so at this moment Stormy Sea) hit a nice medium difficulty, so if you do want to progress, you shouldn't worry too much. Just go in prepared with items and your A team and you should probably make it through! The other postgame dungeons though are quite scary. You can still make it through, but you'll need heavy reliance on items. Strongly recommend always carrying an Escape Orb. When things are totally hopeless, you can leave the dungeon without losing any of your items or money.

Those dungeons being the ones Tim has access too Waterfall Pond = 2 (He might be able to handle it but that nasty Gyarados...) Southern Cavern = 5 ( Despite his Ivysaur, no chance in the later half of the dungeon.) There are a few others but not spoiling in case Tim sees this.

Taking tasks and moves off of just the first page to keep within your range is fine, but you might want to start putting the type match up chart to work again... also, nice to see you turned your Mightyena into a Mouthful build...
