I have to say, the only ones that really surprised me by their actual sizes were Ekans and Machamp. Ekans looks to be about the size of a real garden snake, and Machamp is a kid-sized bodybuilder with 4 -arms. I’d have expected it to be at least Goro sized from Mortal Kombat.

I think in the case of Ekans, I believe it’s just by length. My issue with size would definitely be both Blastoise and Charizard. They should be far bigger than that.

What’s interesting is that this shows that the sizes of many Pokémon in Legends: Arceus are not at the scale they should be. The best examples of this is how Avalugg line are already much bigger than their Alpha variants in their regular sizes, not to mention Dialga and Palkia. Also, it’s terrifying how big Arbok is.

I always forget how absolutely depressing the pokedex sizes are. Especially after seeing pokemon represented in other media like the anime. I get that the trainer is a young kid and that the pokemon seem big to them, but I really did expect Blastoise to stand well above a full-grown adult.
