I'm not a native speaker, but I took a couple years of French classes. It is always hilarious to hear Scykoh try to read French words. Especially since there are so many letters that are usually not pronounced. But he reads every single letter every time 😁

Scykoh’s language pronunciation absolutely murders me, especially because I KNOW he has like near-fluency in Japanese. You know how to say ありがとう!!! Don’t lie to us!!!!!

I thought this episode would be really boring, but Scykoh's *wonderful* pronunciation of French was fantastique Art class is the best one imo. The classes don't do much else that's helpful for people who've played a few pokemon games though.

Oui is "wee". It's French for yes. Notice how they focus a lot on languages from countries previous games were based in. By the way, you can also talk to the teachers periodically. If you go to the monitor by the desk you take classes in, any teacher who has a dialogue scene you can view with have an exclamation point by them.

Don't forget to check the computer screen next to the class registry to see if anyone within the school wants to talk to you (exclamation mark by the room name)~

Might be in the minority here, but I actually enjoyed doing the classes in this game. There were a few that were genuinely enlightening, especially in terms of gameplay.

Hey scykoh, hope your having fun with this game Forgot to mention, if you complete the school exams, you get items and secret lore. If I remember correctly there is 8-10 lectures per class

Does anyone else find it super weird that Nemona has already battled and won against the elite 4, yet still starts with a level 5 starter pokemon?

Having a Pokemon pick up an item for you is helpful when you actually can't reach the item but the Pokemon can, such as a water Pokemon swimming to a small island or a flying Pokemon crossing a gap you can't cross.

Yes midterm and finals are in this and doing them rewards you with xp candies small midterm medium finals (if you pass them) doing everything rewards you with large candies

Picard's Log Day 20: YO! Today is going to be rather educational, I can already tell! ^_^ Let's get things started shall we? Today we started things off by going to school and learning some things about the local history such as how the current culture started roughly 2 millennia ago and that it started because of Great Crater in Area 0. ^_^ Then we learned how to say a few words in a few different languages (though I think we might need more practice). Then we learned a few things about home economics (or in this case, learning about how to use foods to our advantage). ^_^ What will happen tomorrow?

Normally hearing people mispronouncing foreign words, especially French, doesn't bother me because I can tell they are doing it intentionally. But I could tell from the way you initially pronounced 谢谢 (xie'xie) that it was a mistake and for some reason that bothered me. (Incidentally your correction was right xie'xie is pronounced like shyeh-shyeh with each tone starting high and dropping low.)

Out of curiosity, do you purposely say all words in other languages extremely wrong or are you really totally oblivious of how they're pronounced?
