Despite its glitches, Scarlet and Violet was a very good bounce back from Sword and Shield. Better characters, story, graphics, gimmicks, region, co-op (Which is like one of the few things S&SH did good), and replayability. Absolute come back imo.

I know SV has had the roughest beginning of any Pokémon game to date. It has more bugs, glitches, and performance issues than a Bethesada game, but it is still my favorite Pokémon title to date. While the issues was annoying, the characters and story made up for it. I am sure I am biased, since the game helped me get out of a dark time and get me to realize just how huge a part Pokémon is to who I am and my life, but what I wouldn't give to enjoy the game for the first time again.
