I always thought the original cards typings were odd. Glad to know that much has remained consistent. Honestly, Machamp and Golem should not be the same thing and if the games are complicated with 18 types (they're not) the card game should reflect that imo.

0:58 and 1:18. The types are wrong BECAUSE THE POKEMON ARE DOUL TYPE IT DOESN'T MEAN GRASS MEANS POISON OR NOCOLOR MEANS DRAGON

Well back in the first sets of the game, poison types were grass and dragons were colorless. You can look it up yourself to verify

He was using the earliest examples of these types. While it would have been more clear to use Tangela from Base Set and Dratini from Base Set, I wouldn’t have thought of using a pure Grass type over Venusaur or a pure Dragon type over Dragonite either.
