While we are at the topic of gods. That shape of light in the background of the official ultra sun/moon website that is overseeing Solgaleo/Lunala totally looks like Arceus from the front. (In fact I'm going to eat a broom if this isn't Arceus or some kind of Arceus-/godlike-form) Maybe US/UM will really give us a story about Arceus or someone trying to acquire his powers. Those Necrozma coloured eyes on the "Arceus face" definitely make it look ominous.

TWO SUNS/MOONS?

I have a theory, Necrozma is a black hole. Necro means corpse, and like Kyurem it acts like a zombie seeking energy and other life forms to fill its emptiness. In Kyurem's case it kidnapped children and pokemon to consume until it could gain one of the 1/2 of it's soul back (reshiram or zekrom) or both, and is basically a zombie, a shell of the original One dragon's body when all 3 were One being (another theory, does it surpass Arceus the God?). Necrozma is the same, 1st piece of evidence is the symbol on its back which looks like the North Star. 2nd is that it's body looks like a telescope and in astronomy there are 3 types of telescopes, 1 refracts and absorbs light (like the astronomy definition for prism, absorbing and refracting light (Necrozma the prism pokemon, prismatic laser it's signature move absorbs light to fire it back)), another telescope reflects light (like the moon), and the 3rd emits light (like the sun). Finally the 3rd, what is a dead star called... either a supernova if a star explodes, or it collapses and creates a blackhole.... a thing that captures and traps light, and what does it do to Solgaleo and Lunala, it captures them and fuses with them taking their life energy and absorbing light.

I'd agree because Guzzlord consumes basically everything, but it can't consume light like Necrozma can, and doesn't prism mean to refract light, and isn't refracting light absorbing and redirecting it, and in US and UM the new forms aren't Necrozma redirecting the light but instead taking it within itself to make it stronger and give it life, similar to how Kyurem is a zombie that lost it's souls and is trying to get them back, but in the mean time preys on children and other pokemon to sustain its form, Necrozma does the same thing, it is seeking energy in the form of light, and what gives off the most light in the universe, the sun, stars, and the moon with its ability to reflect light. Plus a black hole is a dead star, if it is trying to take in light to give it energy it could be because it is dying or already dead but wishes to become alive again, and I know I keep comparing it to Kyurem even though they are entirely different and that US and Um are trying not to be like other sequel games but one cannot ignore how similar they are as well, but like Kyurem it wishes to obtain it's original form or at least something close so that it can feel alive again, and as far as we know even though it is dark typing Guzzlord is not dead and like the other beasts is more representative of the 7 deadly sins (which is kind of thrown out of the way considering there are at least 3 more UBs, however if his one theory about the clown thing is Pennywise, then one of the other 2 could be something else, while the last is the 8th deadly sin which is usually thrown under the rug, despair or depression). One last thing I forgot to mention, as I also said Necrozma is representative of a star, most prominantly being the North Star with its shape, and if it is dead and like Kyurem a dead star is a black hole or it goes into a supernova if it doesn't collapse on itself but instead expands.

hey Gnoggin, I totally agree with you on Giratina being the Gravity Pokemon instead of antimatter. here's the thing... look at the evolution family of Solgaleo and Lunala. Nebula > Protostar the matter in the nebula collects into a protostar with intense... gravity. then it either ignites into a star/sun (Solgaleo) or it cools into a planet/moon (Lunala) both still defined by their... gravity. without which neither of them would have any effect on earth. also, the yellow trim around the Cosmog evolution family looks very similar to the yellow trim around Giratina. both are known for their portals to other dimensions (wormholes, which require gravity power to create) I think that just as Arceus created Giratina... Giratina created Cosmog(s). and ya, Solgaleo & Lunala had something to do with the creation of Ho-Oh & Lugia. What do you think?

Poke Topichu Nuclear fusion can result in radioactive isotopes. Something to do with the ratio of protons to neutrons, I suspect. I despise saying this, but you can get more information by "looking it up." As a means to mitigate that issue I have with that what I call a lazy cop-out in the best of circumstances, I'll suggest you look up "using nuclear fusion to make gold." So far, what I've gotten by "looking it up" amounts to what both Jo King and I have said: that it's not cost effective in the slightest, and the gold may end up being radioactive and won't stay gold for too long.

Remember the FMAB dwarf in the flask? We agreed that it could be the basis for necrozma.. remember, the DITF was already like that for a really really long time, origins unknown.. He murdered a million Xerxenians just to gain a philosopher's stone (a living, breathing philosopher's stone).. maybe he'll take control of Solgaleo and Lunala and gain their powers to.. maybe open a tightly closed portal that only Arceus can open (Praise be unto Him). And just like in the episode of FMAB "He who would swallow God".. necrozma may challenge Arceus or something just to get the portal open.. In the new trailer, we were introduced to the 2 new UB's.. they could be "Father" and "Hoenheim" (I forgot their names.. but you get where I'm going for right??.... more FMAB stuffs!!) there could be an ultra climatic event! Lucifer vs GOD... Arceus vs Necrozma.. the Ultimate Battle that would decide the fate of reality itself!! And might just lead to the "Grand Reset of the Pokéverse" as stated to his previous pokeTheory.... The theory still stands.. we haven't played ultra sun and ultra moon yet.. But this is just a theory!

The alchemy stuff is still somewhat accurate in a lot of ways. The divine number stuff talking about gen 7 being the end is true. USUM are the last 3DS games and thus the end of the franchise that started way back on the Gameboy before ascending in a new form to the Switch. Gen 8 will be completely different from any other game in the series because of the Switch's capabilities and interaction between players. Gen 7 is truly the end of an era. Although, we could theoretically still get gen 4 remakes before the Switch also.

StarWandHeart You are kinda right. Gen 4 had platinum, an improved version of diamond and pearl, then gen 2 remake were made. So, in theory, gamefreak could make a sinnoh remake.

Planned or not, the lore is so loosely written that it is always open for interpretation. And, yeah, the gen 4 remakes have every chance on being on the 3DS following the pattern of RSEFRLG, DPPHGSS, gen 5 didn't have any but we did get XYORAS. Gen 6 didn't have an enhanced version but ORAS is basically the enhanced version because of Zinnia and Mega Evolution. Hoenn should never have had it but the Infinity Energy changed the destinies of Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. This generation though, we could see the pattern of releases last seen in gen 4 and have SMUSUMDP, but in any case, the gen 4 remakes will come at some point, most likely on the Switch, and gen 8 is already hinted to be an "RPG" although Pokemon is an RPG, we should expect a more modern version of it as an open world, customisable experience. The Switch will make Pokemon less portable because of the battery life, unless Nintendo release battery packs to extend portable play, but the player interaction in Pokemon will be more focused on the PSS than ever before. How else would you get Pokemon like Golem, Alakazam, and Machamp? We'll have to wait and see what Game Freak comes up with, but I think it will be exciting to see and worth the wait.

I always felt that lunala's name and design was based of the lunula an ancient irish necklace that was designed like a cresent moon and followed both lunar and solar calenders for the neolithic Irish. It's not astrology or alchemy based but I thought it was interesting enough.

Lunala does have a tiny bit more background towards its name and the moon symbol in Pokemon moon. This background is the ancient Egyptian Symbol for moon known as a lunula, lunulas come in many shapes and sizes but the lunula I stumbled upon to make this discovery was golden but shaped exactly like the Pokemon moon symbol. Suffice to say I know know why lunala is called lunala.

(Don't count Necrozma either, as it's not really specified if it's an UB or Legendary...) - - - - Gold -- Sun Silver -- Moon (Gen. 2 VC Gold & Silver released for ULTRA SUN/MOON...) Mercury -- Mercury Copper -- Venus Iron -- Mars Tin -- Jupiter Lead -- Saturn - - - - ... You brought up Eclipses- Specifically "Solar" Eclipses, didn't even mention "Lunar" Eclipses- Where the sun overshadows the earth, and the Moon is overshadowed by the Earth, creating a sort of "New Moon" phase. I haven't played the pokemon games since red and blue, but it sounds like these two are the ultra beast equivalent of Arceus. If they came from another universe then it's possible that Arceus had nothing to do with their respective universe.

To me it seems like the hierarchy goes: Groudon is in charge of Heatran, and Volcanion. Kyogre is in charge of Lake Trio, Manaphy, etc. Rayquaza is in charge of the Weather Trio, Latias, and Latios. Both Lugia and Ho-Oh are in charge of the 3 Legendary Birds. Lugia is in charge of Cresselia and Darkrai. Ho-Oh is in charge of Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Both Lunala and Solgaleo are in charge of Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. Lunala is in charge of Lugia. Solgaleo is in charge of Ho-Oh. Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia are in charge of their respective dimensions, no legends beneath them. Arceus is in charge of Lunala, Solgaleo, Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia.

I feel that the black prism pokemon (forgot the name), solgaleo, and lunala are above dialga, palkia, and giratina but lower than arceus only when separate, if they combined their powers they would definitely have the power to do almost anything if the pokémon people/franchise people allowed it

Pearls are one of June's three birthstones, along with Alexandrite and moonstone. Cancer starts late June, so I think the pearls and moonstone fit quite well. The first bit of June belongs to Gemini, and both Alexandrite and moonstone go nicely there too. The more you know 😊
