Hey Aussie viewers, in some Shell petrol stations there are Gardevoir and Blissy pokemon tins which cost $22 (AUD $) each tin comes with it's desginated promo and inside is all sword and shield 100% Lost origin and darkness ablaze, then a 50/50 between rebel clash and battle styles (well at least these are the pull rates and packs i've got). if you're looking to open some packs they are origional sale price 100% worth the pick up. P.s also if the tins have no plastic wrapping on them do NOT buy them, found 2 out of 9 tins opened and a few packs were opend inside, took them to the desk and they discarded them. Happy hunting :)

Expanding on that quote into how you can get a deal, if everyone refuses to buy scalped products that are being listed for absurd prices then they will have no choice but to lower them. This initiates a race to the bottom, which is also what happens to the big singles every time a set actually releases. The power of your wallet is much more than you might think, have some self control, think rationally and don’t fomo.

Think of all the other people who stuffed their closets with these products (100's of thousands of people) then look at the sell rate of 5 boxes per month at less than "current" retail and the underbidding to get it. I've been collecting for 6 years. I can't sell to save my life let alone my bills. I have a closet full of Temporal etc. I can't even sell Evolving Skies let alone Surging Sparks. Be careful, my friend with your 💰

Agree, not best time to buy. Hope there’s a crash at some point so I can swoop in on some product. I’m a small long term investor/collector. The pieces I really like I may never sell. So, a drop wouldn’t bother me. Currently, I refuse to buy anything above Pokemon Center prices though. Like everyone, I want all the things but sometimes it just doesn’t make sense. Setting that boundary stops me from giving into fomo. I just work really hard to get product and hopefully with a little luck it all works out. But if I miss something I miss something. I’ve had other wins in the hobby. Btw, what’s your opinion on shrouded fable? I actually really like the art of the set, but it’s been forgotten/under-appreciated w/the release of other sets

Their print runs are planned 6-12 months in advance. It takes them a long time to react to a drastic shift in demand like we are seeing since Surging Sparks. The reprints will come, just take a look at Crown Zenith.

these sets were printed months ago. the printers are more than likely printing team rocket returns about now for release in the middle of the year. also pokemon doesnt care if you can find packs to buy or not, it makes them more valuable

Some of our buyers think a deal is asking $20 off a purchase that is already $10 under market price 😂 Many buyers missed the boat on a lot of product, and their definition of a deal is asking pre-boom prices on hot ticket items.

Theres a bunch of great deals on EBay. It's the best place to do the shopping, you just need to check peoples reviews. I buy from some sort of card shop or something thats in the middle of nowhere. They treat me great, and the prices are great. Theres quite a few good sellers who have come through for me repeatedly. I genuinely feel like I can't be the only one who doesn't struggle to find things, although sometimes you have to adjust your expectations of WHAT you're going to find. I've gotten PC ETB's from the last 4 sets including Journey together, and filled up my sealed shelf. My display looks about like the middle display in the video and I'm going to need to buy another soon with the amount of prismatic I was able to score. (Nothing excessive but I got atleast 2x of every product but the tins.) My gains over the last 6-8 months are 130% including some of my one peice investments. I'm thriving in this world by being resourceful and consistent, and also relying on friends and (Free) bots on discord through RattlePokemon.
