Any booster box bought at $100 is a great investment. Don't wait and try to strike gold on the next evo skies. Diversify and have your hand in as many of the new sets as possible. Sit on it until the reprint window is essentially gone and it goes out of stock on PC. Then sell and repeat.

Exactly. Buy a case for 600. Sell 4 for 150 and keep 2. Buy the latest case and repeat.

I spent a lot investing in Japanese and English 151. I think in the long run it's worth it. The design of the boxes are so attractive and it's gen 1! 5 to 10 years down the road it should be worth it. :)

So whenever I buy a booster box off eBay it’s like 10$ over market because of taxes, is there anything or anywhere else I could buy that would get me closer to market or do I just need to search for good deals?

I am very bullish on Scarlet and Violet. The market sentiment will change, as it always does and people will be experiencing FOMO for SV just as they are for Sword and Shield. If you take emotion out of the decision and look objectively at SV, its a pretty decent block so far (lets not talk about obsidian flames though).

I do miss nice design and colour, that's why I liked chilling and fusion. They actually had some colour to the boxes!

I feel like Temporal Forces is the Chilling Reign of Scarlet/Violet. Altered forms of Legendary Pokemon, a bunch of Alts/SIRs and incredibly hard pull rates. #ChillingPain

people sleep on sleeved and 3 pack blister they apricate very well and you can tell which ones to buy by looking at the booster box price , just like chilling reign, lost origin ,fusion strike, brilliant stars, when Pokémon center sells out and there not in stock in store anymore there going apricate very high, in 3 years when these booster boxes are at 300 to 400 maybe 500 people are more likely to buy the 3 pack or sleeved compared to a booster box just look at evolving skies no-one buys the booster box to rip they buy other products cuz its cheaper and if go back to any older set its the same situation, but as you said right set right price always matter much love poke oz just my thoughts

I can't get on board with the three pack blisters. They've just never done well for me and IMO are a pain to keep minty. I do agree it's hugely a buyers market at the moment, but I'm investing heavier than normal as a result. The JPN market is more and more accessible here in the UK which is great for me as I love JPN cards! Also, you didn't seem so keen to speak about the cricket today? hahaha

I’ve only bought booster boxes and etbs, I’ve got 3 booster boxes, 9 etbs, 2 151 Japanese booster boxes and 3 Japanese shiny treasure ex booster boxes. I started out watching videos like yours so I’ve stayed away from the “boxed sets” or things like that

It would take a while for me to find it, but it was to do with expected future box price based off of rarity and top 10 chase card prices.

I bought 100 booster boxes of obsidian flames and was going to use that as my retirement. The box is almost doubled after a few months from about $85 is what I got them for and I was selling them for a 130. I was planning on sitting on those 100 boxes as my retirement fun but ended up flipping them and made almost double my money. 2 card shops took 40 of them and I was able to sell 20 cases to friends and family. The most important part of the story is it is entirely made up But if it were true it definitely would have worked.
