Since no one has this Milestone info 100% correct I'll provide it. The buy in is $120. 1 in 10 get paid $1k. Its not a satellite, the tourney just ends(so it is like a Survivor Tourney). The Milestone part is if you get to 200k in chips you automatically get paid. They take your chips off the table and give you $1k. So for example if 100 people enter, the tourney will end when 10 people are left and everyone gets $1k
@mully107
@mully107 2 ай бұрын
Not quite. The tournament would only play down to 10 people if nobody hits the milestone. Which is very unlikely. If 100 people join. 10 people would get 1k. But not necessarily the final 10 players.

The WSOP had the same down rates for HE and non-HE mtt's last year. I say "last year," because I know about 2023 for a fact because I was asking Bally's dealers while I was considering applying to the WSOP. This year is likely the same there, but I don't know for a fact.

Are there enough dealers during the WSOP or do those who are available have to work extremely long hours? I can imagine dealing poker in Las Vegas at some point in the future, just to have done it. I don't care about the money. The problem is work permits in the US. But if there is a shortage of dealers, it should be in everyone's interest to bring in dealers from e.g. Europe for these 5-6 weeks in question. By the way, are there dealers from other countries dealing during the WSOP? I'm not going to move to the US, even though Joe Biden says the US is the best place in the world. :)

@@mully107 Never heard that expression. I have probably tipped less than $1 per hand in my life. A lot of hands that end preflop get no tip. And it's not too often I win a huge pot that triggers $2 or more. When people who are losing don't tip, that's fine. When someone wins a tiny pot and doesn't tip, that's fine. Those things have happened and I don't get agitated. When people tip on tiny pots, it's generous, but I'm not expecting it.
