I feel like this "reverse poker face" format needs points awarded each time you convince someone else that you got the good one. Keep the points for correct guess, but the boys need the incentive to NOT react/spit it out. Add this element and I think you've got an absolute banger of a video format.

That sounds way better! In the original game, when you get the bad one, you get a correct guess at the price of having to endure it. Here, you get double rewarded with a good dish and a free point, all based on chance.

I had the exact same thought! Like Dobbins or Bobbins, getting points for fooling the other players makes it much harder to arbitrarily get the lead by just lucking into the getting the right one.

In the original, it's the one suffering the abomination that has to try to look like they're enjoying it, making it harder for them and more possible for those of us at home to guess. This issue can be fixed with a change to the scoring system. If you guess right, you should get a point, if you guess wrong, the person you guessed should get a point. That incentivizes pretending you got the nice one.

The way you did the sidekick ad was really good in my opinion. It was quick, engaging, informative, and enticing without being obnoxious or feeling like a major disruption. Showing us what is in the app instead of just telling us to try it makes it feel like you respect your audience as people and arent just trying to manipulate them. It's not that easy if you don't know what the others are experiencing. It makes for weak content if they don't say anything. It depends on the type of clue they are given. Not knowing it was raw garlic. It was just spicy it's hard to not give your self away if you don't know what kind of spicy heat you are faking.

Easy and fair scoring format: You have the nice food and noone guesses you 2 points. You have the nice food and someone guesses you 0 points. You have the vile food and someone guesses you 1 point. You guess the right one (other then you) 1 point. This way you are incentivised to bluff more whether you have the good food or the bad and it's not an auto-point if you have the good one.

i honestly liked the last version with the single bad one. simply because it was more like culinary roulette then. but i guess also cause in all fairness the person who doesnt get the bad one here wins twice too easily. the point you get for guessing yourself in the 1 bad one version is the balancing of good and bad for the round.
