No, it made me wonder how long they spent on the interview. The Sun seemed to move a long way in an hour.

One imagines it wasn't the sun moving so much, but something outside reflecting it and moving in a regular motion. It went over the sign many times. If Jack's still reading these -- can you invite the guest back to do an episode on what it was? Would love to know the answer to this mystery

Jim, if you read this, please know that you’ve been a huge part of my life for years. I used to identify with your comedy shows and specials and appreciated so much the way you put words to the things I felt. It’s been great watching you evolve and grow over the years. To this day, through all the growth, I still feel the connection I felt when I first heard you. It would take me too long for a KZbin comment to tell you everything I’ve wished I could tell you, how much you’ve helped me.. Thank you.

Really surprised John Dean, a White House counsel, wasn't mentioned. He gave that famous, "We have a cancer within, close to, the presidency, that is growing" line to Nixon. He is still alive and appears on television once in a while.

Ben Stein wrote Nixons apology letter. Always found that interesting. Also Rodger stone was proudly brought up during the hearings as being involved. Also, we only found out about Felt because he got Alzheimer’s in his older age and started talking 😹🫶🏻

Now that we know (re 33:20), we should NEVER honor Nixon for ending the war. LBJ had it almost DONE when Nixon arranged in 1968 to have the peace talks de-railed. Half of our Viet Nam casualties occurred after that act, because we kept on fighting.

Hey Jim, interesting fact, Deepthroat was shown in regular theaters, in fact I believe it was this movie that caused the creation of the G, PG, R, X movie rating system that we use today.
@lynxfx
@lynxfx 2 жыл бұрын
Oh I don't know about that. The ratings were established before Deepthroat came out. They went through quite a few changes over the years. The X rating which the MPAA didn't officially use until they adopted it in 1970 before Deepthroat. In 1990 they created NC-17. Movie ratings would be a good episode actually.

Apparently some people like me can just have wisdom teeth and just use them, as far as I know most people pull them out but they fit on my bulky head just fine. Maybe if you're a normal sized person there's no room for them.

My mom was born with no wisdom teeth I had all 4. I must have got them from my dad 🤷🏻‍♀️ or maybe I just devolved lol 😆. Only one ever came down though the other ones just stayed where they were, none of them bothered me. I did have to have the one wisdom tooth removed just coz there wasn't enough space in my mouth. But it wasn't impacted or anything like that. But literally everyone I know has had to have them removed because they were impacted.

Love Jim but he should strip some microphones (and people) out of this studio. Guest talks for 10 seconds and then Jim cracks a joke (as comedians do) but the problem comes when his subordinates come in to try and get their "look at me I can be funny too" moment and it takes 4 minutes to get back on topic. Jim + Guest + Forest should be all that is needed IMO. THEN maybe they wouldn't need a Patreon to fundraise for all that other dead weight.

How? He just stated facts -- and I'm very left wing. Nixon didn't know about the break-in at the time, and he did the the EPA and other popular things. But this guy also points out that, not only do the cover-up that scorched his career (including firing everyone investigating him), he also brought up the little-known fact of Nixon's treason in 68! What kind of apologist is that?! What are you guys smoking?
