I prefer a Booster Box, I'll dish out the 700, rather know the Pokemon Company screwed me over instead of doing 36 loose packs knowing they could have been edited/resealed or altered in any other way. $300 is definitely a huge price differential, but as he said, 1-2 cards can change the outcome and a freshly sealed box has better odds than loose packs, as you saw in this video.

@@kingdiola I recently bought a detector to see if it works and it does work incredibly well on sword and shield and older! It does not work on scarlet and violet as you have 3 foil cards per pack! It’s scary how well it works once calibrated! Don’t buy older loose packs unless heavy!!

I bought a booster box of evolving skies in Fall 2021 for 99$ and I am so happy that’s all I paid for it, best pull was a rainbow leafeon vmax which goes for around 56$ rn. Everything else was either just a regular vmax or terrible v card. Should’ve bought 2-3 more after that just to keep sealed but I’m so bad I would’ve opened it up 100% by now instead of keeping it sealed lol. Can’t believe how hard it is to pull anything in this set, there is a reason why those alt arts are so expensive. The set is expensive and you can spend 400$ on loose packs and still get nothing more than 10$ back 😅

Those packs were most likely weighed; the only lose packs you can trust are from collection boxes, tins, etc. you crack yourself. 💯 Also, yep I cracked a box like that too back then. Some of those boxes have really bad rates!

Loose packs are cheaper because people believe you can weigh them, but you can't weigh modern packs. Try it yourself, weigh some loose packs and only open the heavy ones, you'll get no difference in hits.

Bro I've done the exact same thing so so many times with Evolving Skies. It hurts so bad but I can't stop myself. Im somewhere between 1400 to 1500 packs opened now and I've only hit the Sylveon VMAX Alt art. That's my only hit out of the Top 7 Cards from that Set. It's cursed when I open them or something. Now it's become a weird addiction to get at least one of the Top 4 Cards but it's getting hard to do buy them at a decent price. Doubt it ever happens for me at this point but it's hard to quit when your in 1500 packs. I know I'm bound to hit one in this life or the next 😭🤕
