I kinda liked the idea of hold em and kinda started getting interested then I watched Ivey play in 2003 main event and watching him hooked me into playing. I love his intensity and how he intimidates people. As a sports fan he is in my top 10 of watching someone compete at their sport. Hes a straight killer

@Vpopov81
@Vpopov81 4 жыл бұрын
i was gonna say he seems alot more passive. Probably because the game has changed. In 2003 tight aggressive was taught so lag was prolly easier to run over the table now everyone is lag. Or who knows maybe people tighten up as they age a la doyle brunson chip reese
@LucasLincolnn
@LucasLincolnn 4 жыл бұрын
phil is more tight passive nowadays because the skill gap between him and the rest of the field is way smaller. in the past he could profitably 3bet any two against 90% of the players because of his huge edge post-flop. now the game is very different and all his opponents have a very consistent fundamental understanding of the game. that being said, he's still an elite player.

In game at 43:10 after Ace on the River it show 100% WIN for Ivey when Soyza has got two pairs. Straight can be only of 5-cards in order, but he's got only eventually 6-7-8-9, so why by the system he won that 100%? I don't get, can somebody explain that, please. Very simillar situation at the last game, exactly at time 48:15 after 9 on the turn System show 10out for Ivey to win include one of three 7's. Why? 7 will give Soyza second pair! What's going on here?!
