I watched the movie last night and the AIRTIME and LATERALS on thst Glacier Gulch scene! I was like, "I bet Intamin would build this"

i watched it like a week ago and was like, “this would make a sick roller coaster” so i started building it, and it wasn’t going to have an intended manufacturer, but after i built part of the layout, i was like, damn, this is like a prefab, and now we’re here!

I know right?! I felt the same way with Monsters Inc. Now, Disney is making that come true in a couple of years. Kid friendly of course though, but that scene when Randal is chasing Mike, Sully and Boo in the doors vault oh my gosh that would make for a SICK real life roller coaster. In my mind I can imagine a B&M Invert and a 2nd imagination of it in my mind is Intimin or Zierer and have a drop track at the end to simulate the door coming back to the scare floor, but with a little more intensity than a slow lift down. So, everyone is getting this adrenaline rush to thinking...okay, now what's going to happen and when they drop they still got the adrenaline rush. Might not like the fact the drop track just sent them to the blocked breaks to go back to the station though.

Very good! While I've always thought real life Glacier Gulch was basically The Voyage if it was 15 km+ and surrounded by the rocky mountains of Alberta (terrain use, vintage train design, relentless elements, ect), I can see it as an Intamin pre-fab. And the coaster itself of course looks epic.

Awesome, looks like something Tricky Plays Games would build. While I was watching Theme Park Crazy 15 Facts about coasters video, I've heard that Polar Express's director Robert Zemeckis contacted The Gravity Group for the roller coaster scene.

thanks! only problem with making the midcourse faster is that the airtime after it would be very unrealistic because of multiple moments that would get to -2gs

it’s around the same intensity as el toro but with less deadspots and an i305 turn halfway through so i think you’d be fine

This is awesome!!! Too bad there isn't a real life Polar Express roller coaster that would make for one awesome ride. Monster's Inc. is finally getting a roller coaster...so who knows.
