Another option is to make it with USAF markings to represent the spaceship used in the the Twilight Zone episode “The Invaders”….which the studio reused the model of the C-57 D used in “Forbidden Planetl (which this kit actually is). I just ordered this kit to use in a diorama representing the 1948 Aztec, NM UFO crash landing. This incident, first reported in Frank Skully’s book “Behind the Flying Saucers” was later attempted to be debunked as a hoax, but later investigations by Scott Ramsey in his book “The Aztec Incident “ gives supporting evidence that the event did in fact occur.
