I was looking into the pedals then stumbled into this, realized, Yeah, Paolo! FM! It's funny how happy seeing you made me. And then, you worked your magic. Ah!

This Makes two things very clear: 1. Paolo is Amazing. 2. The DX7 is one of the best synths ever created! :D I think i'm gonna invest in these pedals :)

Waaaay too kind, thank you! Yes, the DX7 is a fantastic synth, and a classic

All three of those are very nice, and reasonably priced. Those stacked knobs are just great, genius. Keeps the pedal small, and the knobs big.

What a fantastic demo, these pedals are transcending the DX7 ! DigiTech do a great job on this serie ! You have some great skillz in key practice, is it your how song ! It's very "Danny Elfman" like..it think about "Edward Scissorman", "Nightmare Before Christmas" or "Coraline" ! That little melody is so quiet and sweet ! Bravissimo signore Paolo !

Funny. I have Cocteau Twins "Plain Tiger" in the background right now as I'm listening to this video. Listening to Tiny Dynamine/Echoes in a Shallow Bay.
@Vintersemestre006 жыл бұрын
Tiny Dynamite is probably my favorite Cocteau Twins EP. Either that or Love's Easy Tears.
@matrixsynth6 жыл бұрын
Same here. Those are my two favorites. I love everything by them though. Treasure was the first I heard, then picked up Garlands and then I got everything by them. Tiny Dynamine was just released when I got into them. Listening to Victorialand right now to wind down.
@Vintersemestre006 жыл бұрын
Victorialand is actually my all-time favorite, by them or anyone. I love everything by them as well, though their 80s stuff is untouchable. Happy to run into another CT fan :)
@SynthManiaDotCom6 жыл бұрын
Personally, even though I love many of their albums, I am partial to Victorialand. I bought that album in 1986 when it came out and I must have played "Oomingmak" about 18,000 times when I first got the record. That song still haunts me to this day!
@TH3_FURY6 жыл бұрын
Cool, there is many CT fans here....!!! I own a vinyl discography from 'Garlands" to "Heaven or Las Vegas" (all 4AD period 82/90) and some ep/singles ! This band is haunted me since 1985 and it's funny because I just started to listen them after watching the movie "Lovely Bones" ...I just did a 3 days session with CT and they're always fabulous ! Cheers guyz !

Looking for some FX for my hardware setup at the minute myself, don't know if I should go for pedals like the Polara or should I go for rack units? I think I'd like to get some old rack units like old alesis and lexicon reverbs but could just as easily go for pedals, any opinions on what I should go for? Looking for nice reverbs (not nescessarily HQ, some lofi as well)

That crackling noise is from the DX or the recording is clipping? With the effects on it is very emphasized.. Great demo nonetheless!

Great vídeo, as always. Since the guys in the previous posts brought Cocteau Twins and I saw that you also like them, I would like to post a request. Do you have any idea how they got the background sound at Lazy Calm intro ? Thanks for excelente vídeos.
@SynthManiaDotCom6 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Eduardo, do you mean the very first sound as the song starts? If yes, that's a guitar with effects
@eduardobuscariolli61526 жыл бұрын
Yes, the very first sound. Yes it is a guitar with echo effect, but till today I´ve never could figure out what else. But I finally saw a cover showing how it was made. Thanks for the replay and have nice evening.
@pizzagogo61516 жыл бұрын
Really interesting, didn’t know these were full stereo! ( main reason why I’ve avoided guitar effects for synths). Silly bias but I hate the pedal formfactor. Is there an equivalent digitech rack with these effects algorithms in it?

So, you don't use attenuator before sending the signal to the pedals ? You just drop down the volume I imagine
@piewars123456 жыл бұрын
TheOrangepeak I'm pretty sure these guys are made to take a pretty hot signal... shouldn't have to do much :)

TheOrangepeak I'm pretty sure these guys are made to take a pretty hot signal... shouldn't have to do much :)
@LouisSerieusement6 жыл бұрын
Yeah it would make sens ! but as I only came across pedal which were only made for guitar uses, seeing this surprised me at first ; even some recent pedal are heavely distorded if you put your synth / drum machine signal through them at max volume ;
@piewars123456 жыл бұрын
TheOrangepeak I feel ya....I have the Polara and it takes synths like a champ. Great sounding pedal too :)
@LouisSerieusement6 жыл бұрын
I only use old or cheap technology so the signal is always distorded (not always in a good way) if I don't pay attention ; for example the boss pedals usually don't accept high level signal, or my spring reverb RX100 either, even if their is a 3pole switch to attenuate the signal, you have to drop the volume to aceptable level and sometimes you loses dynamics by doing so, especially with analog synth/drum machine ; but well that's not a big deal at all their is plenty ways of dealing with this ; I hope one day I would have great effect boxes :p for now I accept and love my gear :)
