I didn't pull my chaincase cover until 4600 miles! But every 350 to 500 miles I just sucked out the fluid and replaced I didn't even have to wipe off the case or cover clean as a whistle!

I can't think of a reason Polaris wouldn't just give us a recessed drain plug at the bottom of the chain case. They went back in time.

The late ‘22 builds had an issue with hyfax- picked up my assault in march ‘22, only got one ride in of 100 miles and my hyfax were toast. Supposedly replacement material due to supply chain issues. Good to keep an eye on them… (and no, Polaris wouldn’t warranty them!). Lots of guys like me ran into this end of last season.

that is the first i heard of that. very interesting

When I put my sled on the lift and move the front of the ski up and down there is a lot of slop in the front suspension. Is that normal, how much is normal? I have a 2022 VR1 Note I suck the oil out before I remove the cover it is not as big of a mess. Thank you for the videos I enjoy them.
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
They all have the front end play. some worse then others. There are brass bushing kits out there that help a ton and there are adjustments that i will be doing a video on. Sucking the oil out works as well. If you are prepped for the mess its not too bad but im with you!

Don't forget to grease your jackshaft and drive axle bearings on the clutch side. We have seen more and more failures of these. Someday Polaris will wake up and get that jackshaft out of tunnel. Worst design ever.
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
you could do that. I and Bruce have never had issues with them. Lots of times we see peopel over pack them and then that leads to faulure also
