Great tip. I didn't know that about holding the slide when installing the diaphragm. "Hold my beer, I'm goin in". (Back in). My 2013 Polaris 500 Sportsman HO runs fine except when going up very steep hills and the throttle gets pushed in quite a bit, then it sputters. On flat ground it can go full throttle without sputtering/missing.

Great video. My ranger quit running, turns out the needle spring had broken in 3 places and the needle was stuck up inside the slide

This is a good video but it could be a great video if the presenter would talk more slowly which would allow the viewer to understand his explanation of and "use" of various parts within the carb, and his comments at the end as to where to find parts; at least he gave some references that most videos don't.

i am planning on changing my 425 to 500 using the 500 parts. and maybe i have to re jet the carb weith a 500 kit or buy a whole new carb ?

That's runs fine with out the airfilter. The old one was blocked up. Put a new plug in plus new airfikter same.thing barley pulls all bogged down. Take airfilter outs runs like crazy

My 500 6x6 did not have a fule pump when I bought it. I understand that the carb diaphragm needs a vacuum line from the fuel pump. So what type of fuel pump am I looking for to make that operate? My Polaris 500 6 by 6, is a 99

My 400 H0 polaris runs fine with the air filter lots of power. Put the new filter in.. barley pulls machine

I've got an 04 polaris magnum 330 , runs sluggish and found fuel was getting into the airbox. I was thinking float adjustment was needed. Any ideas??
