I'm glad you got yours and you get to do all this cool stuff. My sled has been at my dealer since 1st week of November, but they can't assemble it because they are still waiting for the shocks. They even have one in the showroom on display without them.

Sorry to hear that! I know its out of Polaris's control but its juts a bummer for anyone dealing with It. I have heard good things about shocks coming in decently quick so hopefully not much longer! Thanks for the support!

Neat that Polaris has a little keeper pin for the torsion spring. Cant say ive ever seen one of the torsion springs come out from the groove unless its been smoked by another sled while racing but i suppose its cheap insurance and a piece of mind for many trail riders who want to make sure the spring does not pop out
@JESSEJAMES3224 жыл бұрын
Yea its nice to know its there just incase of some freak accident or issue. Ive never seen one come out BUT never know!

I’ve always found it easier to get the skid back in without the torsion springs under load. I load them when the skid is all the way in.

Hey Jessie I just wanted to let you know I reached out to Southside Polaris and they had a spring in stock and they are sending it to me
@JESSEJAMES3223 жыл бұрын
Perfect!! Glad they were able to help and get you rolling!!
@joeleworthy60273 жыл бұрын
How did you like this setup compared to stock, how much did it help bottoming resistance and did it compromise much on low speed comfort?
@JESSEJAMES3223 жыл бұрын
I wouldnt run stock springs if you paid me thats how much i approve of this upgrade. Factory springs are just too soft. Low speed stuff you do not notice. 10/10 recommend these!
@pro45013 жыл бұрын
I there any chance you can locate me a new set of heavy duty torsion springs. We have zero available in Canada until late March Thanks

Hey Jesse, just getting my shocks back in after revalve, i have a little bit of play in the front track shock. Torqued down those bolts pretty good. Was wondering if you knew if this is normal.
@JESSEJAMES3223 жыл бұрын
Hey Will. Play in what way? are all the bushings and spacers in the correct spot?

Just started riding this season on an 08 skidoo 600. I plan to spring order an indy xc137. At 300 lbs with gear I have issues bottoming out on my current sled, should I go with HD springs or extra HD? Pretty sure I saw you up on the hill riding a while bavk
@JESSEJAMES3223 жыл бұрын
Hey Wade at 300 i would reccomend the Extra HD. may only have to run them on the lowest setting but that would be my attack if i was in your shoes. And no way this year?
@wadechrisman3 жыл бұрын
Yea can't remember the date but we rode from montague to the cottage in Copenhagen and back around to constablville. Somewhere in that mix I swear I saw that sled but could be wrong

so fort the rest of us that dont live near u what exactly did he do to your shocks so the rest of us can get our guys to do those exact mods. i live in northern mb im not about to send my shocks to the states when people around here could do the job if only they knew exactly what to do.
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
Darren. as a replied to a comment a couple weeks ago. We do not give out what we do. We spend a ton of time and money working on these valve stacks and combos. I am sorry you feel i should give you the set ups but that is not what we do. Im sorry you do not live near us and you do not want to send your shocks in. We take care of thousands of people a year and 95% of them send their shocks in. i am not sure what else to say

Another great episode! Still suggest the lava mic for better audio sir. Question: for the torsion spring keepers ( plastic ), wouldn’t billet pieces withstand more miles? Seems the plastic isn’t that durable, but what do I know? Anxious for the next upload!
@JESSEJAMES3224 жыл бұрын
As time progresses so will all my camera work I promise! The plastic believe It or not are pretty durable. I always questioned them especially on the race sleds. Im not too sure how metal on metal woukld worth either but maybe a billet piece with a plastic inlay!! Appreciate the support. Next one you'll like!

Hey Jesse question for you I been riding for about 10 years now and I alway had a helmet with a heated Shield never rode with a helmet with Goggles just wondering what your Experiences what do you use? I just bought a skidoo oxygen helmet last year it’s the best thing I ever bought
@JESSEJAMES3224 жыл бұрын
I dont mind running a helmet with goggles. I have always had good luck with the set up that I run and I dont plan to change anytime soon. Just have to have the right goggle set up with your helmet to make sure to skin is showing!
