Yo I balled my eyes out when i heard Nightmare as i read the news. Ryan was a year older than me, and I’ve been following his videos since I was about 12 when he’d post guitar tutorials. Even now as an adult, I’d revisit those videos when I’d pick up my guitar. Celebrity deaths have never bothered me, but this one was a shock to me. Rest in peace ryan and thank you for the lessons and the beautiful music you’ve made.

One of the best metalcore songs ever written. I thought Polaris peaked with tracks like "Masochist" and "Martyr", but I am so glad to be proven wrong by the songs on Fatalism. There is no other band in the world right now that drags empathy of one's own anxiety and depression to the forefront the way Polaris do. Every note, every line, every song, they come from the heart, and this band captures something truly, TRULY special. I, for one, am thankful just to be able to bask in the music they have created for all of us.
