I have a 2001 scrambler . Pretty much the same as that and had to do the same thing. Mine had been sitting for 5 years at a farm so I got a good deal on it. Cool little wheeler

Seems like it runs good now.. The thing with it only being a 90, that's not a bad thing.. It was made to get you there, not get you there in 4 seconds.. Everyone lost that way of thinking when 4 wheelers became Racers.. That 90 is just back to the original intention, get you where you need to go.. Speed is not part of the deal.. One Last thing... Hey man my sportsman 90 I just got one for my nephew and my bro brought it home wàs riding it. It smelled rich would pop and not hold idle without a lil gas. I fig it might need carb cleaning but I have limited knowledge. Now it will start but it won't move. It's like it falls on its face when you give it gas it won't move in forward or reverse but will run can you give me an idea of what you believe it's a 2006

This is a late comment. But do you remember what carb and choke you used?
