I had a 96, mine had a weisco piston, epi clutch kit and K&N air filter and it ran really well for a 250. I don't think saying it would do 60 mph all day long would be a exaggeration. Biggest problem I had with mine was the starter location, went through starters pretty quick but other than that it was a pretty good machine. Really good on gas and oil
@rockspowersports2 жыл бұрын
@Shane Giggie06. I bet that did go real good. I was impressed with this for a stock machine. And I hear ya on the starter… this one’s got a brand new one in it, the old one was full of gas and oil.
@shanegiggie2 жыл бұрын
@@rockspowersports Yep, always covered in mud and water. I had mine for two years I don't think I had too replace any parts other than the starter. New plug every year and you're good too go. Keep the air filter clean and the oil injection topped up and your free sailin

Good bikes, wake it up with a pipe, clutch and air kit. Less moving parts to maintain than a 400 and better on fuel.

First quad ive ever rode at 8 years old. Oil injected. My friends had 2 so wed go riding in the woods since his fam had like 12 acres over 2/3s was in the woods was riding all the time. Those things were fast and acclerated ridiculously fast and suspension was more for trail as hitting jumps i remember the suspension more stiff n more likely to bottom out when i landed than it did on my xr80/klx140l, i remember the smell of 2 stroke was great! When i was at my buddys house we went through a full tank for a full day of riding. My cr125 is faster though it tops at 63 to 65 mph

For the Polaris guys, are the shift forks in these or scramblers easy to fix/cost? I’m a Honda guy and know hardly anything about Polaris. Thanks
@rockspowersports2 жыл бұрын
@Eric Hemmelgarn. The parts won’t run a lot of money if you do the job yourself, but if your sending it to a shop the labor will be very high. Transmission has to come out to replace the shift forks.

If it’s a Polaris trailblazer it should be located on the lower part of the frame right behind the a-arm mount. I believe on the left side of the machine.
