I like that there’s just one simple signal (phase) that controls the playback. It’s makes it easy to manipulate in all kind of creative ways. 👍

yes, for example phase shift by 50% brings in a nice offset

Is there any point in using a Splitter (which btw in just about all modular systems ever made would be called a switch)? It seems to me you can just route the audio directly to every Recorder. Would that not be the same result?

.. In the split function, is there a way to manually select which one you will want? I'm trying to make some layers of saturations and I wanted to select different mixes by the remote control, it's kind of an FX selector, only inside the grid, is it possible ?

Hey Polarity - I have a grid question! I moved year ago from FL studio to Bitwig and the only plugin I am missing is Delay 3. There was an option to smooth out the "delay time" knob movements what was giving me immensely pleasant sounds while doing psychedelic sweeps and stuff like that - Is it even possible to do something similar in the grid? Have a great evening!

not sure what the "smoothing" does exactly. but you can use the delay+ device and play around with the "update rate" in the inspector and see if it leads to similar results

@@PolarityMusic he's right. i think running your audio through that splitter is summing to mono. i wonder if that's necessary? i think you could just simultaneously feed the audio to all recorders and each one would record its respective buffer from the output of the constant -> splitter.

@@voicedrifter this looks like a bug to me. everything in the grid should be mono. i have to make some tests later
