Create Unique Reverb Effects with Bitwig Studio

This video explains how to use the FX Grid in Bitwig Studio to create a unique reverb effect. It involves stacking multiple all-pass devices and manipulating their delay times to create diffusion, as well as adding in a modulated delay and low/high pass filters to shape the sound. The video also demonstrates how to bring in the dry signal at different stages of the chain to prevent contrast between the dry and wet signals.

Really amazing. Is anyone using the Bitwig grid to quickly prototype effect ideas and then coding them up into a VST using Juce? It seems like this would be a great way to use it.

Wasn't boring at all. I have done similar several times (for people not to watch) using Reason and straight Delay lines for a lumpier outcome. Mmm lumpy reverb. This just makes me want to Bitwig.

Cheers, that was really interesting. I don't have Bitwig but like to make my own effects from scratch in VCV Rack (chorus/flanger from delays, phasers wuth all pass filters, feedback loops etc). I'll be trying this at some point! Another thing you could do if you have a looping delay would be to make a reverb freeze.

Since the stock Reverb is not the best and even though I have two reverbs that fill all my needs (MTurboReverb and Crystalline), I wanted to create my own reverb just for fun! So this video comes in super handy! Thanks for that Next in line is me building a Disperser in the Grid, this could be fun

You can type in a number in almost any parameter quickly by holding control or alt and clicking the parameter you wanna change!! I discovered that accidentally lmfao😂😂
